Gwyneth Paltrow has spoken out after being awarded $1 following her win against Dr. Terry Sanderson in what has been a highly-publicized legal battle.

For the past few weeks, the 50-year-old actress has been caught up in tackling a lawsuit over a 2016 skiing incident in Utah. Legal documents filed against Paltrow alleged that she and Sanderson crashed into each other on the slopes which left the 76-year-old with four broken ribs and a brain injury.

The retired optometrist was hoping to claim $300,000 in damages after his original lawsuit seeking $3 million was dismissed by a judge.

"Gwyneth Paltrow skied out of control [...] knocking [Sanderson] down hard, knocking him out, and causing a brain injury, four broken ribs and other serious injuries," the documents read. "Paltrow got up, turned, and skied away, leaving Sanderson stunned, lying in the snow, seriously injured."

However, Paltrow countersued Sanderson for only $1 as well as the cost of legal fees, emphasizing that the collision was the optometrist's fault.

After several eyewitness testimonies, including from both of Paltrow's children Apple, 18, and Moses, 16, it all rested in the hands of an eight-person jury.

According to TMZ, the group took just two and a half hours to deliberate, finding that Sanderson had in fact crashed into Paltrow meaning that the 76-year-old ultimately lost his case and will now have to hand over $1 as well as the cost of the actress' legal fees.

The outlet also reported that as she left the courtroom, she whispered something to Sanderson, which was confirmed by Sanderson's attorney, Robert Sykes.

"I wish you well," she told him.

Writing on her Stories, the Iron Man star stated that she was "pleased" with the result.

"I felt that acquiescing to a false claim compromised my integrity. I am pleased with the outcome and I appreciate all of the hard work of Judge Holmberg and the jury, and thank them for their thoughtfulness in handling this case."
