Jane Fonda is apparently still waiting on an apology from Jennifer Lopez after the singer cut her face during a movie scene in 2005.

The 85-year-old made the revelation while appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show with fellow actress Lily Tomlin, 83, as the pair promote their new flick Moving On.

Set for release this month, the lighthearted comedy centers on two estranged women who want to seek violent revenge against the husband of their recently deceased friend, slowly bonding and making peace with each other along the way.

Both Tomlin and Fonda have regularly collaborated over the years - having starred together in 9 to 5 (with Dolly Parton), and the Netflix series Grace and Frankie.

She also spoke about what it was like to film Monster-in-Law with Lopez, 53 - a hilarious comedy about a woman played by Lopez, whose new relationship is under threat from her scheming mother-in-law, played by Fonda. In one of the scenes, the two women engage in a slapping match, which Fonda explained had violent consequences in real life.

"The thing that comes to mind right away is we have a slapping scene," the Oscar-winning actress said. "I slap her, she slaps me, I slap her. Well, Jennifer, she had this enormous diamond ring, and so when she slapped me one of the times, it cut open across my eyebrow," she recalled.

"And she's never apologized," Fonda added.

The 'Jenny From The Block' singer herself previously addressed the scene in a 2019 YouTube video, titled: "I REACT to Monster-in-Law," where she explained that she had been wracked with fear over the thought of having to slap the legendary Fonda.

"I was so afraid to hit Jane Fonda in the face or hurt her in any way, really. Her character was very much like her, and my character at the time was very much like me. I was so afraid of her and she was so brave and like, 'Just hit me. Don't worry about it, it's going to be fine,'" Lopez remarked.

She added that the scene eventually "took on a life of its own in a way that we never imagined," as the pair just continued hitting each another until one of them finally stopped.

Talking about Lopez slapping her wasn't the only topic of discussion on Barrymore's show, with the host asking Fonda: "Jane, you relax with, like, baths and meditations. Is it true that there also might be an adult toy involved?"

The audience gasped as the exercise video queen looked slightly taken aback before Tomlin replied: "Well, there is." Fonda then laughs as the audience woos and cheers, adding: "There's my bed, there's my dresser, and in the top dresser drawer you would freak out if you saw what's in there."
