Johnny Depp has surprised fans again with his second impromptu concert appearance this week.

The Hollywood star once again joined his friend Jeff Beck to rock out in London, just a few days after he first shocked audiences by appearing on stage at Beck's Sheffield show.

It's safe to say no one was expecting to see Depp performing live so soon after the multi-million dollar defamation trial between him and his ex-wife Amber Heard came to an end.

Depp and Heard's lawyers delivered their closing arguments on Friday after weeks of battling it out in Fairfax County Circuit Court, Virginia. Whose favor the jury will rule in is still yet to be determined, as viewers wait with bated breath for them to return their verdict.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star is suing his ex over a 2018 Washington Post op-ed in which she claimed to be a survivor of domestic abuse. Depp maintains that he was the real victim of his volatile marriage to Heard and that the article wrecked his reputation and his career.

Heard, meanwhile, has doubled down on her allegations and countersued for $100 million, citing several occasions during her relationship with Depp when he was physically abusive.

While Metro reports that Heard has retreated to California to recuperate from the emotional court case, it looks like her former husband is taking a less relaxed approach.

After he graced the stage in Sheffield to perform a rendition of John Lennon's 'Isolation', Marvin Gaye's 'What's Going On', and Jimi Hendrix's 'Little Wing', fans began speculating whether Depp would once again join Beck for the London leg of his tour.

Depp didn't disappoint. In videos of the show in London's Royal Albert Hall, Beck can be heard introducing the star.

"He came knocking on my dressing room door about five years ago, and we haven't stopped laughing since," says the musician, adding: "We kept it quiet because… obvious reasons… here he is."

At the end of his performance, Depp was met with a standing ovation from the audience.

Jurors are expected to deliver their verdict on Depp and Heard's trial any day.
