JoJo Siwa has left fans divided after sharing a series of posts alluding to being pregnant on social media.
The former Dance Moms star, 19, came out as gay in January 2021 after sharing a video of her dancing to Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' before posting a snap in a T-shirt reading "Best gay cousin ever".
However, in recent weeks, fans have noticed that JoJo has been repeatedly sharing clickbait photos of baby clothes, her cradling her stomach, and alluding to a pregnancy.
While JoJo did clear up the fact she isn't actually expecting a baby, the teasing posts did not go down well with everyone.
JoJo first began teasing fans after she dog-sat her brother Jayden's puppy and he'd text her to ask how the "baby" was, to which she responded with a photo of her cradling her stomach, which she'd puffed out.
She then shared a snap of herself in the diaper aisle of Target, before asking fans if they thought it was a "boy or girl", before adding a tag confirming the only thing she was carrying was in fact a food baby.
JoJo also showed off a "baby clothes haul" while holding her shirt up to show her stomach, but later clarified that she'd bought the clothing to donate to charity, to help expectant mothers in need.
While her haul of baby clothes was for a good cause, some fans were not happy with her continued pretending to be pregnant.
They tweeted: "why is jojo siwa pretending to be pregnant? does she realize how insensitive that is? like cmon."
Others added: "Now why is JoJo Siwa out here catfishing that she’s pregnant?" and "@itsjojosiwa
joking about being pregnant is mad weird and insensitive like girl there’s people who would actually love to be pregnant and can’t and you’re over here making a joke about it."
Another wrote: "I understand Jojo Siwa is giving away the baby clothes she’s buying, but clearly acting as if she’s actually pregnant asking y’all if you think it’s a boy or girl is absolutely disgusting to me. If y’all don’t see she’s only doing EVERYTHING for views, idk what to tell you."
JoJo took to her Snap account on Tuesday to further clear up the rumors, telling her followers that while she is not currently pregnant, she can't wait to be a mother for real one day.
She explained: "Obviously it's no secret that I'm really excited to have kids one day. I talk about it almost every day, I bought baby clothes to donate.
"It's obviously no secret how excited I am to have kids one day, I say I can't wait to be a mom literally 62 times a day, and in the last few days I've bought baby clothes to donate, baby supplies to donate, I'm very excited and I love all things having to do with kids. Being a mom is gonna be the greatest journey of my life, I already know it."
JoJo revealed that she won't be having kids the conventional way, however, as she is only attracted to women and not men.
"The way that I love means it's not the social norm how I will end up having kids one day so let's go into detail," she told her followers.
