JoJo Siwa has criticized Candace Owens after the outspoken conservative questioned whether she was "really a lesbian."

Last week, the 33-year-old hit out at the former Dance Moms star in a six-minute video posted to Twitter in which she claimed that Siwa was "desperate for attention."

"I don't believe JoJo Siwa is a lesbian, by the way. I want to state that very clearly. I do believe that she's desperate for attention," Owens says in the clip. "And you're not going to believe what she's doing now."

Before giving her opinion on the matter, she inserted a clip of Siwa taken from her Instagram account where she was talking about her "gay awakening story time" before ripping it apart.

In the clip - which was done in the style of the 'one thing about me' trend, JoJo pinpointed Demi Lovato's 'Cool For The Summer' music video and Jenna Dewan's Magic Mike dance on Lip Sync Battle as pivotal moments that helped her realize her sexuality.

She added that it was a date with a man - who wanted to sleep with her - that cemented her knowledge that she was only into women as the idea of having sex with a man was so off-putting to her.

"One plus one plus one plus one must equal 'I'm a [lesbian]' or something," the commentator stated. "And I guess that's the idea here. She suddenly realized she was a lesbian after having a bad date and she liked the way Jenna Dewan danced to Magic Mike."

And her rant didn't stop there.

For another four minutes, Owens continued to pick apart the 19-year-old's sexuality, also claiming that "it makes absolutely no sense" as to how Siwa came to the conclusion that she is gay.

After the video was posted to Twitter on April 7, it seems to have caught the attention of Siwa, who quote tweeted it alongside a pretty stern caption.

"I haven’t watched the video yet... But if it has anything to do with your caption, respectfully back the f*** off," the teen clapped back.

And fans commended the dancer for remaining unfazed by Owens.

"Candace tries to start s*** with anyone who's got a large following just to get noticed. Ignore her trash," wrote one user.

Another added: "We love you, JoJo. Everyone know who's doing what for attention."

A third also quoted Owens and turned the remark back on her saying: "@RealCandaceO knows something about being desperate for attention..."

JoJo came out to fans in January 2021, when the teen entertainer posted a TikTok where she was seen lip-syncing along to Lady Gaga's queer anthem 'Born This Way' while wearing a bow with a rainbow on it.

The same day, she also appeared in a TikTok video captioned with the hashtag #pridehousela along with several cast members from Disney Channel's Teen Beach Movie.

Then just a few days after, she confirmed the news by posting a photo to Twitter wearing a T-shirt that read "Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever."

Speaking during an Instagram Live later that same month, she revealed that meeting the right person was going to be a special moment for her regardless of their gender.

"...I always believed that my person was just going to be my person," Siwa told her fans. "If that person happened to be a boy, great! And if that person happened to be a girl, great! I think I'm just really happy. I think in life you know when you meet your person, I really do."

Though JoJo is currently single, she has since gone on to have relationships with women, including Kylie Prew, Katie Mills, and Avery Cyrus, and recently confirmed she is only into dating girls and not guys.
