Jonah Hill's ex-girlfriend has opened up about her past relationship with the actor on Instagram, by sharing "misogynistic" text messages she claims were sent by the star.

The 39-year-old Superbad actor was accused of outlining "relationship boundaries" by his former partner, Sarah Brady - whom he dated back in 2021 for around a year - on social media.

In Brady's post, it appears that the ex-couples alleged conflict was centered around Brady's love of surfing, and based on the reported texts, Hill wanted to set boundaries in their relationship.

The surf instructor took to her social media page to share screenshots of a message Hill allegedly once sent her, in which he stated that some of her Instagram pics were inappropriate.

Alongside her posts, Brady wrote: "If your partner is talking to you like this, make an exit plan. Call me if you need an ear," and revealed texts claimed to be from her former partner asking her to take down any surfing photos from her Instagram with her "a** in a thong".

The woman - who claims that she saw a couples therapist with Hill once a week for four months - revealed an exchange between them in which she questioned the You People star's intentions after she had deleted "all the posts" that he deemed unacceptable.

"But it’s not my place to teach you. I’ve made my boundaries clear," Hill reportedly responded. "You refuse to let go of some of them and you’ve made that clear and I hope it makes you happy."

In another screenshot, the surfing instructor disclosed alleged messages between the former couple, in which the 21 Jumpstreet star reportedly said that if Brady wants to surf "with men," "to model," "to post pictures of yourself in a bathing suit" and "to post sexual pictures," then he's "not the right partner" for her.

Interacting with her followers on Instagram, Brady wrote: "I too struggle with mental health but I do not use it to control [people] like he did to me.

"It’s been a year of healing and growth with the help of loved ones and doctors to get back to living my life without guilt, shame, and self-judgment for things as small as surfing in a swimsuit rather than a more conservative wetsuit. And I’m sure there’s still much more healing from this abuse ahead of me," she added.

She also shared some empathy for the situation, penning that Hill’s alleged actions did not necessarily make him a "terrible person" explaining: "Someone being an emotionally abusive partner doesn’t mean they’re a terrible person (often stems from their own trauma) and at the same time it doesn’t mean it’s ok."

The War Dogs actor has not yet addressed his ex-girlfriend's claims publicly.

Meanwhile, he welcomed his first child together with his fiancée, Olivia Millar, in June.
