Kim Kardashian's Instagram posts have been flooded with comments from furious Taylor Swift fans following the singer's Time Magazine interview.

The 33-year-old pop superstar added yet another accolade to her already impressive year as she was named the magazine's 2023 'Person of the Year' on Wednesday (December 6).

During her interview with the publication, the 'Anti Hero' hitmaker opened up about the scandalous 2016 phone call leak between her and Kim Kardashian's former husband, Kanye West.

To refresh everyone's memories, back in 2016, West released an album called The Life of Pablo, which featured a song called 'Famous'. In this track, he refers to his altercation with Swift with vulgar lyrics, saying: "For all my Southside n***as that know me best, I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that b**** famous".

The SKIMS mogul - who posted footage of the call on social media - made it look like the 'Cruel Summer' star gave West consent to sing about her with obscene lyrics but Swift denied this in a social media statement, saying: "Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is a character assassination," per Teen Vogue.

Despite defending herself, Swift was widely slammed online and branded a liar, with both "snake", with #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty quickly trending on social media.

However, in 2020, a release of the entire phone conversation was leaked and showed that the original video had been edited down - proving the Grammy-winning musician's claims to be true.

Still, Kardashian took to social media at the time to share her belief that Swift was lying, tweeting in part, "@taylorswift13 has chosen to reignite an old exchange."

"I didn't feel the need to comment a few days ago, and I'm actually really embarrassed and mortified to be doing it right now, but because she continues to speak on it, I feel I'm left without a choice but to respond because she is actually lying," she added.

The 'Karma' artist revisited the incident in an interview with Time Magazine and blasted at Kardashian for "framing" her with an "illegally recorded phone call" and sharing it on social media to paint her as a liar.

"That took me down psychologically to a place I've never been before," Swift told the outlet, adding that moved to a foreign country after the incident.

"I didn't leave a rental house for a year. I was afraid to get on phone calls. I pushed away most people in my life because I didn't trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard," she said.

At that time, she felt the scandal to be the end of her music career, sharing: "Make no mistake - my career was taken away from me."

After the publication, the mother-of-four's Instagram page was flooded with comments from angry Swifties.

One user wrote: "For someone [whose] Dad was a lawyer and [you're] trying to become a lawyer, you’d think that maybe you’d make sure you weren’t committing a crime by recording the phone call??"

Another said: "Kim what you did to Tay affected her mental state. Your words & actions have consequences [for] others. Make this right & you will get more respect."

A third added: "I love you but we need a real apology for Tay Tay. She deserves it. You said y’all moved on but nope. She haven’t."

Others simply put the snake emoji all over Kardashian's posts - which references Swift's song 'Look What You Made Me Do,' from her rebellious 2017 album, Reputation.

In the years that followed, Swift's career and popularity grew - while many of her adversaries have suffered major setbacks, including the 'Gold Digger' rapper.

The billionaire is currently on the international leg of her successful Eras Tour.
