Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker shared the news that they are expecting their first child together in a rather unique way - and the reveal has a sweet hidden meaning too.

The reality star, 44, announced she was expecting by holding up a sign at Travis's recent gig with his band Blink-182, reading: "Travis, I'm pregnant".

The drummer, 47, appeared shocked by the news as he soon hopped off the stage and enveloped his wife in a huge hug, before the pair kissed in front of fans.

However, as well as being a pretty iconic way to break the news, fans spotted that Kourtney's sign was actually in reference to a classic music video from Blink-182.

Kourtney's sign is in fact identical to one held up by a fan in the music video for 'All The Small Things', one of the band's best-known hits which actually came out in 1999.

Top marks to Kourtney for recalling this split-second moment from near the end of the video - she's clearly her man's biggest fan.

In her reveal video, the band's frontman Mark Hoppus also jumped into the crowd to congratulate her, saying: "Let’s hear it for Travis, someone’s having a baby!"

Kourtney and Travis have known each other for decades but finally got together as a couple in 2020, before getting married in May last year.

The couple has been open about their journey to starting a family together, having undergone IVF in order to help them conceive.

Kourtney revealed last September that she was taking a break from the fertility treatment due to the side effects she was experiencing, which included depression.

She had also hit back at fans who were speculating she was pregnant earlier this year after seeing her body change as a result of the hormones she was taking as part of the treatment.

Kourtney wrote on social media at the time in response: "(I only acknowledge this comment bc I do think it’s important to know how IVF affects women’s bodies and it’s not spoken about much) ... also are we still asking women if they’re pregnant?"

She added on an episode of The Kardashians: "Every single person on social media is always like, 'Kourtney’s pregnant, Kourtney’s pregnant, Kourtney’s gained so much weight'".

Kourtney added to her mother Kris Jenner: "I’m like, it’s so rude to comment on people when you have no idea what they’re actually going through."

As well as the new bundle of joy, Kourtney already has three children - Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, eight - who she shares with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, 39.

Travis also has two children of his own - Landon, 19, and Alabama, 17 - with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, 48.
