Obviously Leonardo DiCaprio felt it was time he made his comeback to everyone's little screens (i.e. their phones) after his recent breakup from Camila Morrone, as he's now reportedly got his eyes set on supermodel Gigi Hadid.
While it was widely reported that the pair's separation was a "shock" breakup, those who relish in Twitter and Reddit deep-diving knew it was coming. Why? Simply because Morrone reached 47-year-old Leo's supposed age limit, 25.
For those who don't know about Leo's age limit, the internet has your back. Several years ago Reddit user, TrustLittleBrother, created an extremely detailed graph depicting the Wolf of Wall Street's love life. Titled 'Leonardo DiCaprio refuses to date a woman over 25,' the graph depicts Leo's age steadily increasing, while the ages of his girlfriends remained in their early twenties.
It comes as a great surprise, then, that Gigi has appeared on the scene. While she fits Leo's physical type - she's a model with a tall, slender frame - at 27 years old she's two years older than anyone the Oscar winner has ever dated.
Representatives for the pair haven't confirmed or denied a courtship, but multiple sources told People this week that the Titanic star and the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show alum have been "getting to know each other" in New York City.
A further source claimed: "Leo is definitely pursuing Gigi," while another added: "They've been seen hanging out with groups of people. It's only been a few weeks since the split. Since then, he's been hanging out with friends and family."
Gigi herself has also been in several high profile relationships, including with Cody Simpson, Joe Jonas, and Zayn Malik (the latter of whom she shares two-year-old daughter, Khai).
Twitter user, Daily Leo DiCaprio, even posted a tweet based on TMZ reports that Leo and Gigi were seen at the same party together over the past weekend, writing: "TMZ reported that on Saturday (September 10th) night #LeonardoDiCaprio was among many celebrities that hit up the Revolve Party at Casa Cipriani in lower Manhattan. Other celebrities that attended the event included #GigiHadid and #JaredLeto."
With whispers of an apparent new couple on the rise Twitter has, of course, taken the opportunity to roast Leo savagely, with one user commenting: "He's [trying to] beat the dating girls
