Lizzo has shared a video of Adele's reaction to Harry Styles winning a Grammy award that might put all the speculation on social media to bed.

On Sunday night (February 5), the 29-year-old former One Direction star was nominated for six awards, winning the Best Pop Vocal Album and the biggest award of the evening - Album of the Year - for Harry's House.

When the 'Watermelon Sugar' hitmaker's name was announced for the last prize of the night, he buried his head in his hands as everyone around him - including fellow nominee Lizzo - jumped to their feet for a standing ovation.

As the 34-year-old musician hugged Harry, many people on social media pointed out that Adele stayed seated. However, new footage of the 34-year-old 'Hello' singer's exact reaction has now been posted by Lizzo herself.

Check out the video below:

In the heartwarming footage, Lizzo focused on the 'As It Was' singer as he is seen in disbelief at his win as the audience and fellow stars are heard screaming in the background.

The 'About Damn Time' musician turned the phone once Harry walked on stage and showed the 'Easy On Me' hitmaker appearing ecstatic and screaming as she pulls animated facial expressions.

Adele then asked Lizzo: "Why are you filming me for?", before instructing her to focus her camera on the Album of the Year winner instead.

This puts things into a different perspective as initially a previous angle from the award ceremony showed the 'Rolling in the Deep' songstress offering a tight smile when Harry's name was called out.

A lot of people online assumed Adele's immediate reaction was because her number one album, 30, was also nominated in the same category and lost.

However, others have pointed out that it was probably because she was stunned that Beyoncé didn't win the most coveted award of the evening with her seventh solo album Renaissance.

While the 41-year-old 'Crazy in Love' singer had a historic night as she picked up four Grammys and totaled her number to 32 - triumphing as the most-awarded artist in history - this is still the fourth time Beyoncé has been nominated and lost the Album of the Year award.

In 2010, her I Am … Sasha Fierce album yielded to Taylor Swift’s Fearless, in 2015 her self-titled album lost to Beck's Morning Phase, and in 2017, her groundbreaking record Lemonade lost to Adele's 25.

When the 'Someone Like You' vocalist went on stage to accept the award, she spoke out on Beyoncé's behalf and said on stage: "My artist of my life is Beyonce, and the Lemonade album is so monumental."

And in the press room, she continued: "I felt it was her time to win," adding, "What the f*** does she have to do to win album of the year? That’s how I feel," per NME.

Nevertheless, it looks like Adele was still very excited for Harry when he picked the top award of the night.
