Megan Fox's boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly has branded the pair's new movie "trash" after they snubbed its premiere.
Taking to Twitter, the rapper had some stern words about their latest onscreen venture - a film titled Midnight in the Switchgrass.
The film follows an FBI agent, played by Fox, who crosses paths with a serial killer while trying to bust a sex trafficking ring. It's loosely based on the true story of the Texas 'Truck Stop Killer' and also stars Bruce Willis, Emile Hirsch, and Lukas Haas.
The rapper - real name Colson Baker - tweeted to his 1.6 million followers: "If I don't talk or tweet about a movie I'm barely in it's because it's [trash emoji]."
Earlier this month, Fox's rep told Variety: "Due to the recent California mask mandate and rise of COVID cases, Megan Fox will no longer be attending the premiere tonight."
However, the film has since been savaged by film critics which could be another reason why the real-life couple decided not to attend.
The pair, who actually fell for each other on the set of the film in May last year, were absent from the premiere - a decision that sparked further backlash.

The couple famously met on the set of the film in March last year and while it made for a passionate romance, the experience has resulted in a poorly reviewed film.
The thriller was blasted by critics last week, resulting in a disappointing 17% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Fox previously said she wasn’t itching to see her chemistry with her man play out on screen.
"That’s just something we were living in, so much has happened since. The question of 'Did we have chemistry onscreen?' isn’t necessary, because chemistry has gotten us this far," she told USA Today.
After meeting in March 2020, the pair's friendship quickly turned intimate after Fox's split from her then-husband, Brian Austin Green.
Fox previously opened up about her relationship with the musician in an appearance on director Randall Emmett's podcast, Give Them Lala... with Randall, stating: "I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame.
"Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time."
Megan added: "So we're actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away."
The couple is clearly so close that the rapper recently revealed that he has now wears a vial filled with Fox's blood.
