Megan Fox has spoken frankly about her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly and says they drink each other's blood for ritual purposes.

Fox and Kelly were confirmed to be dating in May 2020 after starring in a crime thriller called Midnight in the Switchgrass that was released in 2021.

As per the Independent, the 35-year-old actress confirmed her engagement to the 32-year-old musician last November on Instagram where she candidly detailed that they've drunk each other's blood.

“And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes,” she wrote in the caption, along with a video of Kelly’s marriage proposal. “And then we drank each other’s blood.”

During a recent interview with Glamour UK, Fox discussed the Instagram post and whether the caption was true.

“So, I guess to drink each other’s blood might mislead people or people are imagining us with goblets and we’re like Game of Thrones, drinking each other’s blood,” she said. “It’s just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other’s blood on occasion for ritual purposes only."

“When I do it, it’s a passage or it is used for a reason,” the Jennifer’s Body star added. “And it is controlled where it’s like, ‘Let’s shed a few drops of blood and each drink it.’”

According to Fox, Kelly is more "chaotic and hectic" and willing to "just cut his chest open with broken glass and be like, ‘Take my soul’."

When asked if Kelly would actually slash his chest, Fox replied: "It doesn’t not happen. Let me tell you. Maybe not exactly like that, but a version of that has happened many times.”

The rapper previously spoke about how he had a necklace of Fox's blood on The Ellen Degeneres Show after posting about it on Instagram.

“Well, she was actually going out of town to film a movie, and this is really new in our relationship,” he explained.

Kelly said he couldn't visit her whilst she was in Bulgaria because he didn't have a passport, so Megan gave him a necklace of her blood.

“And yeah, I mean, some people give, like, a handkerchief to their partner or whatever, she gave me her DNA,” he added.
