Meghan Trainor has opened up about her and her husband's unconventional bathroom setup.

The singer, 28, tied the knot with Spy Kids star Daryl Sabara, 30, back in 2018. Since then, the couple has developed an unusual habit when it comes to going to the toilet.

While many people might see going to the bathroom as a personal experience, Trainor and her husband view it as more as a group activity. That's why - rather than just a single toilet - they've had two installed side-by-side in their home.

In an interview with the Pretty Basic podcast, the singer explained their arrangement, saying: "He'll hang out with me while I poop."

She went on to say that she'll still leave the room while her husband is doing a number two. "I can't take his poops. Sorry, Daryl. Like, man poops are a different f***ing level. But my poops don't smell."

Rather than being embarrassed, Trainor gushed about the arrangement, saying: "It's the best part. We hold hands, we pee. He sits while he pees, which he's mad that I told the world that too. It's easy, he's tired, he's a dad."

She added that, while she had no issue with telling the world about her and Sabara's toilet habits, he wasn't so happy with how open she had been.

"I didn’t think it would go viral the way it did — to the point where it affected our relationship," she said. "Daryl was like, 'You need to stop.' I said 'Why? People love it!'"

Meanwhile, Trainor's mom wasn't particularly thrilled with her being such an oversharer. "I'm so personal and open about everything," she said, adding that her mom asked her: "Did you HAVE to talk about your anal fissures on TikTok?"

This isn't the first time the star has explained her and her husband's side-by-side toilets to baffled fans.

Back in October 2021, she took to Twitter, writing: "To clear things up…we pooped ONCE together and we laughed and said never again… but he will hang out with me if I’m [poo]ing cuz WE SOULMATES. And I legit miss him when I’m away from him. And we pee together obvi."
