The 2020 Grammys are over with, and it's fair to say it was a night of glamour, elation, and drama. However, in terms of scandals, it's clear that the 62nd iteration of the music award show was nowhere near as controversial as the 2009 Grammys.

The 2009 awards show was, of course, the day in which Rihanna was forced to pull out at the last moment, after her then-boyfriend Chris Brown was arrested for violently attacking her in the car on their way home from a party.

Rihanna recently told this reporter how to properly pronounce her name:

When pictures of the singer's bruised face leaked online, Brown later admitted that he was guilty of attacking her. As a result of this confession, he was subsequently sentenced to five years probation and slapped with a community service order.

However, if Brown's Instagram account is to be reckoned with, it seems as though the rapper regrets his behavior, and is making some serious hints that he wants to get back together with his ex.

Fan interest in Brown was piqued when he took to Instagram to post a now-deleted image, which consisted of a screenshot of himself from an old interview he had conducted and captioned the snap: "When someone asks, after all this time... why are u still in love WITH HE? My ANSWER: BECAUSE TIME HAS NO RELEVANCE WHEN ITS UNCONDITIONAL ❤️ [SIC]"

He also uploaded another picture of a caption which read simply: "Tell people u love them while they are here ... YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT TOMORROW BRINGS ❤️. [sic]"

However, this isn't the first time that Chris Brown has made remarks about Rihanna which have angered her fans. Back in November of 2018, he sparked major controversy on social media after he left a comment on Rihanna's Instagram account.
