Simon Cowell has congratulated America's Got Talent singer Nightbirde after she was forced to drop out of the competition after revealing that her cancer had "taken a turn for the worse".

According to The Daily Mail, the 30-year-old singer - whose real name is Jane Marczewski - appeared remotely on the quarterfinals of America's Got Talent after she left the highly-publicized talent show due to a resurgence in her cancer diagnosis.

As you can see in the video below, an emotional Cowell spoke with her, and let her know that she hadn't let anyone down by exiting the competition.

Take a look at the moment when Cowell told Nightbirde what she made him feel here:

Per the above publication, an emotional Cowell stated: "Even though you haven't competed, you have already won. Your clip had such an impact on so many people.

"On behalf of all of us, we are sending you our love and our prayers and we can't wait to see you again soon.

"And thank you so much for auditioning on the show and for singing such a beautiful song."

Marczewski opened about her diagnosis in a recent Instagram post, stating: "Sharing my heart with the world on AGT has been an honor and a dream come true. My point of view this summer has been astounding," she wrote alongside the image.

"What a miracle that the pain I’ve walked through can be reworked into beauty that makes people all over the world open their eyes wider."

She then continued: "Since my audition, my health has taken a turn for the worse and the fight with cancer is demanding all of my energy and attention.

"I am so sad to announce that I won’t be able to continue forward on this season of AGT. Life doesn't always give breaks to those that deserve it - but we knew that already."

"Thank you for all your support, it means the world to me. Stay with me, I'll be better soon. I'm planning my future, not my legacy. Pretty beat up, but I've still got dreams."

Nightbirde's Golden Buzzer audition has already amassed over 31,000,000 views on YouTube.

We wish Nightbirde all the best in the next stages of her treatment.
