Netflix viewers have shared the best order to watch episodes of the new show Kaleidoscope - a unique series that allows viewers to watch it in any order they wish.
The show centers on a group of criminals with various personalities who attempt to pull off a heist worth $7 billion, but are thwarted by their greed and betrayal of each other. Breaking Bad's Giancarlo Esposito plays the part of the mastermind behind the ambitious crime.
In a unique twist, the episodes haven't been released in chronological order, and viewers are prompted to watch each episode in any order they choose - except for the eighth and final episode. Each episode is named after a color, with the final episode named 'White'.
Many viewers have taken to social media to document their preferred order - with some revealing how to watch it chronologically, while others have revealed the different orders the show could be watched in and still make sense.
"[Kaleidoscope] chronological order," one person tweeted, writing that if viewers wanted to watch the series chronologically, they would need to begin by watching 'Violet': 24 years before the heist, 'Green': seven years before the heist, 'Yellow': six weeks before the heist, 'Orange': three weeks before the heist, 'Blue': five days before the heist, 'White': the heist, 'Red': the morning after the heist, and 'Pink': six months after the heist.
Interestingly, this user decided not to adhere to the recommendation to save 'White' for last.
One fan went into more depth, saying: "If you plan on watching the order less #KALEIDOSCOPE on Netflix I hope this helps you! But also it was fun to see how the Netflix gods wanted me to see it."
They then tweeted several other possible orders in which to watch the series, saying if the viewer wants "mystery," they can watch the episodes in the following order - 'Red': the morning after the heist, 'Yellow': six weeks before the heist, 'Pink': six months after the heist, 'Green': seven years before the heist, 'Orange': three weeks before the heist, 'Violet': 24 years before the heist, 'Blue': five days before the heist, and 'White': the heist.
Another option for viewers who are "big on" introductions and conclusions could then watch the series in this order - 'Yellow': six weeks before the heist, 'Green': seven years before the heist, 'Orange': three weeks before the heist, 'Violet': 24 years before the heist, 'Blue': five days before the heist, 'White': the heist, 'Red': the morning after the heist, and 'Pink': six months after the heist.
Given that the series has only been out since January 1, it's unclear how well the series has done on movie and series sites like Rotten Tomatoes.
Though, if the social media response to the show is anything to go by, it looks as if it's set for good reviews!
