One of the best-loved musicals of all time is Little Shop of Horrors.

In case your memory needs refreshing, it centers on centers around Audrey II, an unusual Chinese plant bought during a solar eclipse, which turns her owner Seymour into something of a local celebrity after he discovers she thrives on human blood.

Now, there's a rumor that Lady Gaga could be starring as Audrey in a remake of the 1987 cult classic.

The news was broken by US Weekly who claimed that the singer-songwriter turned actress had "recently" been offered the role.

While nothing is officially known about the role Lady Gaga was allegedly offered, the magazine has speculated that it will be the female lead, Audrey. A role made iconic by Helen Green in the original adaptation.
