Fans finally have their first look at John Cena's character in the upcoming Barbie movie - and let's just say he did not disappoint.

Greta Gerwig's highly anticipated movie about the famous Mattel dolls - Barbie and Ken - is set to hit theaters in just a matter of days on the back of an absolutely stacked cast.

The all-star cast includes Margot Robbie as the titular character, Ryan Gosling as Ken along with Will Ferrell, Kate McKinnon, Ncuti Gatwa, Michael Cera, Simu Liu, America Ferrera, and Dua Lipa.

One name that had been shrouded in mystery when it came to the flick was former WWE star John Cena, who has now been revealed to be playing a Merman named 'Kenmaid'.

Check out Cena's 'Kenmaid' below:

An on-set image shared on social media shows the 46-year-old professional wrestler sporting a long, blonde curly wig that looks incredibly realistic.

Cena has no top on - showing off his toned physique - and is donning a necklace made up of white shells, pearls, and a large blue shell at the bottom. He is also sitting down in the picture, but you can just see a small patch of blue around his waist which is presumably a mermaid tail.

Upon seeing the picture, many users are now sharing their awe-struck and hilarious reactions to the bulky actor's transformation for the live-action movie.

One shocked user wrote: "PLEASE IM SCREAMING I WAITED FOR THIS," and another stunned person said: "GASPED SHOOK RAN TO MY MOTHER TO SHOW HER THIS IMMEDIATELY."

A third person questioned: "My interest in this movie just reached impossible levels," while a fourth user couldn't help but share the classic "You can't see me" meme by stating: "There is nothing there, just a table with props and wardrobe."

On Insight with Chris Van Vliet, the 33-year-old Australian actress revealed that the Peacemaker star wasn't actually cast in the movie and the whole cameo happened on a whim. She ran into him at a restaurant in London as they were both shooting movies and asked him to play the role there and then.

"I ran into him because I went to pay the bill, and they were like, 'John Cena already took care of it.' I was like, 'What? Where is he?’ I mean, he’s a big guy. Yeah, I couldn’t see him. But I was like, he’s hard to hide," she said.

He was shooting at Leavesden, the same place they filmed Barbie, so the Birds of Prey actress asked: "Do you want to come be a merman in Barbie?' and he was like: 'Uh, yeah.'"

"I was like, surely he’s not gonna agree to it just like that, and he did. He’s so awesome like that," Robbie added.

Cena also spoke about the shooting and sudden casting appearance on NBC News's Today Show, telling host Hoda Kotb: "It was a happy accident and I think that Barbie and Fast X share a lot of parallels. The cast list is amazing, the Barbie cast list is amazing, the Fast X cast list is amazing."

Barbie is scheduled to be released in most countries across the world on July 21.
