People are convinced that Selena Gomez just threw some major shade at her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber and his wife, Hailey in a new video posted to social media.

Taking to TikTok on Tuesday, the 31-year-old actress-turned-singer mimed along to an iconic scene in Sex And The City when Samantha Jones answers a phone call from a married lover.

"It's over, I told my wife," says the male voice on the sound before Gomez lip-synchs the response which is: "Who is this?"

In the caption, she also added: "Single Soon this Friday!"

Check out the video:

Of course, some of us understood that the clip was only meant to be a promotional video for her upcoming project which is set to debut in a few days, though others were convinced that there was some hidden shade embedded within it too.

"The shade and the rose tattoo i love her," commented one user while another agreed, adding: "'No she did not' OH YES SHE DIDDDD."

A third scandalized user commented: "My mouth hit the ground we love you for this."

And another user compared the sound of the voice in the clip to that of Justin's... Big yikes.

Some people went as far as name-dropping the star while another re-iterated that the "shade" against the couple was unmatched.

There were hundreds of comments like the one above, but this one takes the cake: "I know Justin’s punching the wall and Hailey is reading the comments on this post! HI HAILEY", while this one came close second: "Sry [sic] Bieber it's too late."

Lets hope this doesn't re-ignite any feuds that were put to bed earlier on in the year.

You all remember when the Rhode Beauty founder and her friend, Kylie Jenner, were branded "mean girls" after they seemingly mocked Gomez for her eyebrows, right? No? Let me refresh your memory.

It all started when Gomez dethroned Jenner as the most followed woman on Instagram.

While you would just assume that it's a trivial issue, fans believed that Jenner's jealousy over her passing of the coveted title led her to ignite a feud with Gomez with the help of Bieber.

The 31-year-old posted shots of her eyebrows stating that she "laminated her brows too much", and within "three hours", Jenner took to her Instagram Stories to post close-up shots of her own eyebrows before following it up with Hailey Baldwin's brows too.

After a video explaining the situation was posted to Twitter by Pop Base, fans started calling the Keeping Up with the Kardashian star out, even going as far as to brand her a "mean girl."

Jenner later took to TikTok to comment under a video about the alleged "shade" to slam people for "reaching."

"This is a reach," Jenner wrote before adding: "No shade towards Selena ever and I didn't see her eyebrow posts! U guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly."

Not only that, but Gomez was also forced to defend her celebrity bestie, Taylor Swift after a resurfaced clip of Bieber retching at the mention of her started circulating social media again.

Gomez commented under the TikTok video where Bieber was also described as a "mean girl" writing: "So sorry, my best friend [Swift] is and continues to be one of the best in the game."

Things continued to get heated, but Gomez seemingly put a halt to the drama after she urged her fans to stop hating.

The 26-year-old had originally contacted the actress for help amid the feud.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the former Wizards of Waverly Place star wrote: "Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity. This isn't what I stand for."

"No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I've always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop."

Bieber then took to her own Instagram Stories hours later to thank the singer for speaking out and defending her.

"The last few weeks have been very hard for everyone involved and millions of people are seeing so much hate around this which is extremely harmful. While social media media is an incredible way to connect and build community, moments like this only create division instead of bringing people together," the model wrote.

She also revealed that she and Gomez had been having discussions for several weeks on "how to move past this ongoing narrative" between them.
