Pink has claimed that her childhood idol Madonna "doesn’t like" her after they had an awkward encounter almost 20 years ago.

As the saying goes - you never get a second chance to make a first impression. Apparently, the 43-year-old singer should've kept that in mind during her first encounter with the 64-year-old pop icon.

The 'So What' rockstar recently opened up about the uncomfortable moment with her musical hero during an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show.

"Madonna doesn’t like me," the musician claimed on the radio show on Wednesday (February 22). "Some people just don’t like me. I’m a polarizing individual."

When Howard Stern pointed out that the 'Material Girl' songstress is also a "polarizing individual," the songwriter agreed and added that she grew up being her biggest fan, saying: "F***, I loved her."

Pink - whose full name is Alecia Beth Moore Hart - then explained that the problem started during their appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly back in November 2003.

"She tried to kind of play me on Regis and Kelly, and I'm not the one, so [it] didn’t work out," she said before the 69-year-old host pressed her to explain further.

"It’s just such a silly story. I f***ing love Madonna, and I love her no matter what. I still love her no matter what," the 'Lady Marmalade' singer stated.

"She was such an inspiration to me, but it sort of got twisted around that I was, like, fangirling and was dying to meet Madonna when in actuality she invited me into her dressing room," she continued.

One of the hosts, Regis, had asked how it feels to meet Madonna and Pink jokingly responded: "I thought she wanted to meet me." This exchange was not heard in the actual footage of the episode.

The 'Try' vocalist noted that the joke did not sit well with the Queen of Pop and remarked: "It didn’t work out. It didn’t work out for us."

The radio host then interjected: "Madonna took the joke personally," and joked that she was in the studio to fight Pink - which prompted laughter from her and her band.

It seems like the 'Trustfall' artist is revealing her problems with fellow pop divas as she also recently addressed a separate instance of drama with Christina Aguilera.

During a recent interview with Buzzfeed, the 'Just Give Me A Reason' singer ranked 'Lady Marmalade' in last place on a list of 12 of her "most iconic music videos," saying that it "wasn't very fun to make".

She also said that there were "some personalities" surrounding the filming and then complimented collaborators Lil Kim and Mya for being "nice" to her.

After she notably left the 42-year-old 'Beautiful' singer out of the sentence, fans slammed her for her comments which prompted Pink to fire back on her Twitter page.

She angrily wrote: "Y’all are nuts. Xtina had s*** to do with who was on that song. If you don’t know by now- I’m not 'shading' someone by telling it over and over and over what actually happened," adding, "Also- I kissed xtinas mouth. I don't need to kiss her a**."

Perhaps they need to kiss and make up again.
