Simone Biles simply refuses to let the haters get her down.
The Olympic gymnast, 24, had some stern words for her critics after some labeled her a "quitter" for her decision to take a brief break to focus on her mental health during Tokyo Olympics earlier this year.
Back in July, it was announced that the Biles had withdrawn from the women's team all-around gymnastics final, and the following day, she pulled out of the individual all-around final.
Her decision has received a great deal of attention and sparked an ongoing discussion on the importance of taking care of your mental health.
She ultimately won bronze for balance beam, despite suffering from a mental health crisis that led to a case of the "twisties", as well as a silver medal for the women's team all-around.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, September 4, Biles proudly showed off her two medals in a gushing post.
"Can’t believe it’s already been a month," she wrote alongside the image.
"Definitely not the way I planned the Olympics going but I wouldn’t change anything for the world,' she captioned the image. 'I’m proud of myself and the career I’ve had thus far."
Biles famously left the 2016 Rio Olympics with a haul of five medals, including four golds.
"This Olympics doesn’t erase the past accomplishments I’ve achieved nor does it define who I am as an athlete," she went on.
"I’ve pushed through so much the past couple years, the word quitter is not in my vocabulary."
For some of you that may be how you define me but keep talking because I can’t hear you over my seven Olympic medals which tied me for the most decorated gymnast EVER as well as most decorated American gymnast," she added.
Needless to say, fans and celebs alike flocked to the comments section to praise Biles for her incredible achievements.
Actress Viola Davis wrote: "Woooooooohoooooo!!!!!!!!"
While supermodel Naomi Campbell wrote: "Speak on it. Thank you @simonebiles."
"You are the most remarkable human ever to exist," actress Beanie Feldstein wrote. Biles also received love from her teammate Jordan Chiles, who wrote: "Preach! Say it louder for the people in the back."
"You have the nation in a CHOKEHOLD," her sister Adria Biles added.
