Super Bowl streaker posts brazen brag after attempting to invade Sunday's game

It's fair to say that, these days, the publicity and hype surrounding the Super Bowl often overshadows the game itself. Everyone talks about the ads, the performances, and the national anthem, but comparatively few discuss the end result itself.

Indeed, this year one of the main talking points was a young woman who took to the pitch in an attempt to streak. However, just before she could follow through with the stunt, with millions of viewers watching at home, she was apprehended by the police and escorted off the premises.

The act divided opinion among sports fans: some thought it was just a harmless bit of fun, while others were enraged, feeling that it detracted from the game and distracted the players.

Now the streaker herself, an Instagram model by the name of Kelly Kay, has posted a follow-up on social media regarding her ignominious public arrest, and it seems as though she doesn't regret her deeds in the slightest.

Another person provoked controversy at this year's game when they were caught on camera falling asleep in their seat:

She later posted a picture of herself typing away at her laptop, accompanied by the caption: "Straight from jail to work, still in the same dress," and also changed her Instagram profile picture to her mugshot taken at the police station upon her arrest.

She also uploaded a short video of herself being arrested, which she captioned: "Do what you want, when you want, life’s too short to have regrets ☄️ Thanks @nfl for having me ‼️? @vitalystreaking [sic]"

A number of Kay's fans took to the comments to express their feelings about the streaking attempt:

Kay, who currently boasts over 250,000 Instagram followers, seemingly confirmed that her attempted streaking was linked to Vitaly Uncensored: a website that pulled off a similar stunt during the Champions League soccer match between Tottenham and Liverpool.
