China's Quan Hongchan did more than just secure her second gold medal when she competed in the women's 10-meter platform diving - she did it with a perfect score of 10 on her first dive.

One can only hope to earn such a difficult accolade but Quan, who is only 17 years old, managed to make it look easy as she completed a forward 3 1/2 somersaults with "no splash."

As she entered the water without even a ripple, fans were left cheering for the Chinese athlete and the judges later rewarded her efforts with a perfect score (except for one who gave her a 9.5 - boo!)

Have a look at the moment below:

The video immediately went viral online, with social media users applauding Quan for her amazing talent.

"Absence of the splash is amazing, first time I'm seeing this," wrote one user while another added: "Her ability is completely in another level. Most of the time, her lowest score is higher than most other athletes’ highest scores, which is insane..."

A third also commented: "To be able to do this at 17 years old in the Olympics is so insanee [sic] i never even knew you could dive without a splash."

And this user also chimed into the conversation writing: "How is that even possible, water diving IMO is one of the coolest sports."

Others also couldn't help but point out: "whichever judge gave a [9.6] was a hater."

This person also agreed: "Ain’t no way someone gave this 9.5."

Quan scored a total of 425.60 points on five dives, compared with 420.70 for Chen Yuxi of China who took silver followed by Kim Mi Rae of North Korea who secured the bronze position with 372.10.

Caeli McKay of Canada came in fourth place with 364.50 points.

The two Chinese divers teamed up earlier to win the 10-meter synchronized diving competition.

After the medals had been given out, Quan opened up about how she felt earning herself a perfect score.

"I believe scoring 10 is unbelievable," she told audiences through an interpreter. "The feeling was super."

This is not the first time the 17-year-old has achieved the feat either. Back in 2021, while competing in Tokyo, Quan took home yet another gold medal for the sport and also earned herself two perfect scores.

Congratulations to Quan and the rest of the winners!
