In July, Steve Irwin's daughter and eldest child Bindi announced that she was engaged to long-term boyfriend Chandler Powell on her 21st birthday.
Then, on Sunday, the reality star and animal rights activist shared a picture of her wedding dress on Twitter, and it was revealed who would be walking her down the aisle in her father's place.
Her brother, 15-year-old Robert, replied to the picture, writing: "Can't wait to walk you down the aisle."
Steve Irwin, who became synonymous with death-defying crocodile wrestles on his popular show the Crocodile Hunter, died in 2006 after he was stung through the heart by a stingray on the Great Barrier Reef.
In addition to his television work, Irwin dedicated his entire life to animal conservation and founded Australia Zoo with wife Terri. It was there that Chandler proposed to Bindi.
Naturally, the pair will also be tying the knot at the zoo.
"Wedding planning is in full swing for us and it has been an amazing whirlwind," she wrote on Instagram earlier this month. "We're looking forward to celebrating our wedding day next year at Australia Zoo."
The 21-year-old said that there was no doubt in her mind that her father would have wanted her brother to walk her down the asile.
In an interview with E! News, she said: "It's so important to include the people that can't be there with you, so on the day, I know that Robert is absolutely gonna walk me down the aisle and I think that's what would make dad happiest."

She said: "One day we'll have a family. One day we'll have our own little wildlife warriors, but not yet."
