Sylvester Stallone's daughters may be in their twenties, but that doesn't mean he won't stop trying to intimidate their potential love interests.

In fact, this was one of the topics of discussion as the family of five - Stallone, 76, his wife Jennifer Flavin, 54, and three daughters Sophia, 26, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20 - appeared on Today to promote their upcoming reality TV show The Family Stallone.

It was Sistine who told the outlet that when her dates meet her famous father, they often don't reach out to her again. Speaking to co-host Hoda Kotb, the three girls opened up about what it's like dating when you have such a well-known father.

Sistine said it is "difficult" for her to date, especially after her dates meet her dad. "He's quite intimidating to most, and most of the time when they come over to meet the parents, they don't necessarily return, simply because he's just so scary," she said.

Flavin then said she is always "nice" when meeting her daughter's potential love interests, Sistine did agree but added that it wasn't always the case with her Rambo actor father, who "doesn't say hello" to her dates.

Though, Sylvester defended himself, explaining why he was apprehensive about meeting his daughter's dates. "I don't trust their intentions. Because I know men," he said, before noting that his daughter Scarlet has "a really nice boyfriend" whom he likes. Scarlet agreed, saying: "He was great meeting him, and now they're best friends."

As any father will tell you, he also jokingly hoped his daughters would remain single forever. "I'm hoping they turn out to be spinsters. I'm working on that. They stay home forever," he said.

While promoting his family's show, Sylvester spoke about how he's told his daughters to be wary of the public attention ahead of the release of their reality show. "I said, 'Your quiet time is over, and once you're exposed out there, it's out there,'" he said. "You're going to have people following you home, guys like 'Hello, how are you?'"

Sistine then quipped: "He's very concerned about our safety."

The doting father also detailed the most difficult part about his relationship with the women in his life, joking that he would "never win an argument" with them. However, he did say the "best part" about living with four women was: "They're just funny. They're outgoing. They're not silent by any means and they express themselves, which is good."

Aside from being a father to three daughters, Sylvester also has a 44-year-old son named Seargeoh, whom he shares with his ex-wife Sasha Czack. The couple had another son together named Sage, who sadly died in 2012 age 36.
