Fans of Toy Story - prepare to have your childhood ruined as a disturbing adult joke has been spotted in Toy Story 2.

As we get older we start to realize that the movies we innocently watched while we were young might have had some hidden moments purely for the adult's enjoyment.

Luckily we are too young to acknowledge them at the time and they usually go right over our heads so our innocent young minds don't get corrupted.

But now we are older, let's have a look at one moment in Toy Story 2 that definitely has some adult connotations and is pretty weird to watch now.

Fans of the series will know that Buzz and Jessie have a thing for each other throughout the series, and it appears that the attraction started pretty early on.

When Jessie arrives at Andy's house where all the other toys live, Buster, the family dog, is trapped inside the bedroom and needs help getting out.

Check out this disturbing adult joke from Toy Story 2:

Without missing a beat, Jessie hops onto a toy car and does an extravagant loop before flinging herself onto the door knob, allowing the dog to get out of the room.

Buzz is clearly taken by this, as he stares at her with a look of disbelief on his face before his wings pop out from behind him, clearly signifying that he is aroused.

I don't need to explain what the joke behind that is any more than I already have, do I?

Needless to say, fans were flabbergasted by the revelation, with one person commenting on TikTok: "Buzz got a little excited there."

A second person expressed their shock by adding: "RIP to my childhood," while many more simply typed "no" in a variety of ways to show how shocked they were.

This isn't the only time that something like this has happened, as found out by fans of Shrek.

The scene in question occurs in the first Shrek movie, wherein Lord Farquaad, comfortably situated in his bed, summons the magic mirror to reveal the image of Princess Fiona, whom he has chosen to marry. It all appears quite innocent until one keen-eyed viewer pointed out a detail that escaped many of us.

As the covers on Farquaad's bed lift slightly, he assumes an embarrassed expression. The implications become clear, and it's a detail that many viewers failed to recognize as children. The scene alludes to a common physical response in men when they become physically aroused.

TikTok users were quick to react, with one expressing their disbelief, saying, "Wait whaaat? This destroyed my childhood," while another chimed in with, "I DIDN'T REALIZE IT RAISES OH MY GOD NOOOOO."

A third user added, "Ok but the mirror's face; he looks disgusted. How many times did he have to show him her face?" It's safe to say that some cherished childhood memories have been tainted by this newfound revelation.

None of our childhood favorites are safe.
