A fan who decided to get a tattoo in homage to Netflix's hit show Wednesday has been left a little red in the face after the response of some social media users.
Taking to Twitter, Kevin, also known by his official handle @Suns_Armband, reposted a snapshot of a body piece alongside the caption: "Some dude got Wednesday tatted on him. Looks more like Samuel L. Jackson [sic] daughter," with laughing faces.
And of course, after having a look at the snapshot - which did indeed look nothing like Jenna Ortega - no one could un-see it.
The reaction from others was utterly hilarious.
"If you think about it, this might be the ultimate Black Snake Moan tribute tattoo," wrote one user while another said: "Wow, it's... Thursday "Mother F*ing" Addams-Jackson."
A third simply published a Samuel L. Jackson meme - and an iconic one at that.
One other user said that "if it wasn't so sad, it would be funny."
I mean, it is quite sad, but it's also quite funny.
While the news about this tattoo might not be all that positive, there is some good news about Netflix's Wednesday that will make up for it as it looks like we'll be getting a new season very soon.
In a statement released by showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, they expressed their happiness about the success of the first season.
"It’s been incredible to create a show that has connected with people across the world," they said. "Thrilled to continue Wednesday’s tortuous journey into season two. We can’t wait to dive headfirst into another season and explore the kooky spooky world of Nevermore. Just need to make sure Wednesday hasn’t emptied the pool first."
According to Variety, the series set a new platform record for most hours viewed for an English language series in its first week with over 341 million hours. Since then, it was reported that the show has grown to become the second biggest English language season of television on Netflix with over 1.2 billion hours viewed within its first 28 days, among other streaming series records.
So far, no other details have been released as of yet but we're keeping an eye out for any new updates in the weeks or months to follow.
