Bette Midler's keeping it real with all of us.
As reported by Page Six, during her recent acceptance speech at this year's Costume Designers Guild Awards, the 77-year-old opened up about the cosmetic procedures she's undergone over the past few decades, revealing that she's had a bit of "tailoring" here and there.
"Time has a way of smoothing everything out. I’ve been at it for close to 60 years... and I do look fabulous, I know," she joked as the crowd cheered.
"I’ve had some tailoring done on my face," she added.
Over time, many have speculated whether the Hocus Pocus star has gone under the knife but according to the Daily Mail, this is the first time that Midler has publicly addressed the rumors.
However, despite staying pretty much tight-lipped on the issue, back in 2008, the actress said she "considered" getting plastic surgery while speaking to Extra.
"Doesn't everybody consider it? When it really starts to cave in, I probably will start to give it a real good think," she said at the time, before adding: "I am really good about my regime. I am really disciplined. I don't keep strange hours and I don't drink a lot and I don't smoke."
It's no secret that the pressures of being in the entertainment industry have drastically impacted people's appearances over the years. Many have resorted to getting cosmetic work done to preserve their youth, even young stars.
Supermodel Bella Hadid opened up about the procedures she underwent in her early twenties during her Vogue cover story last year, stating that she has some regrets.
"I wish I had kept the nose of my ancestors," she told the outlet. "I think I would have grown into it."
However, the 26-year-old who was recently announced as the new face of global beauty brand, Charlotte Tilbury, denied ever getting Botox or eye surgery.
"People think I fully f***** with my face because of one picture of me as a teenager looking puffy. I’m pretty sure you don’t look the same now as you did at 13, right? I have never used filler. Let’s just put an end to that.
"I have no issue with it, but it’s not for me." Instead, she said, her lifted appearance is an illusion: "Whoever thinks I’ve gotten my eyes lifted or whatever it’s called - it’s face tape! The oldest trick in the book."
Mom-of-three Chrissy Teigen has also been pretty candid about her cosmetic work, stating that despite some of them being "dumb", it worked for her.
"I had an armpit sucked out, which was one of the best things," Teigen told Refinery29 in May 2017. "It's a big secret, but I don't care. It was nine years ago or so. And I had two inches to my armpit. Now it's back though, so now I've gotta pay for [liposuction] again. It was so easy. It made me feel better in dresses, I felt more confident.
"It was the dumbest, stupidest thing I've ever done. The dumbest, but I like it, whatever. I have no regrets, honestly."
And similar to Midler and her age-defying looks, 85-year-old Jane Fonda also admitted to having a bit of help over the years.
"I'm glad I look good for my age, but I've had plastic surgery," she said during her 2018 Netflix documentary, Jane Fonda in Five Acts. "I'm not going to lie about that."
The Barbarella star explained that she "got tired of looking tired," but added that she "[hated] the fact that I've had the need to alter myself physically to feel that I'm OK.
"I wish I wasn't like that. I love older faces. I love lived-in faces. I loved Vanessa Redgrave's face. I wish I was braver. But I am what I am."
