A Burger King employee has revealed that she received a complaint from a customer saying her uniform was a "distraction".
Taking to TikTok, Lala - who uses the handle @rockefeller.o on the social media platform - shared her story of a rather unpleasant experience with the customer, along with her scathing response.
In the video, Lala writes: "I had a lady complain today because my uniform was a 'distraction' to her husband... I guess I'll leave my ass at home next time?"
Lala - who could be seen wearing her Burger King polo shirt, baseball cap, a face mask, and skinny jeans - then flips the double fingers to the camera. She also captioned the post: "Girl, f**k you."
Check out the clip below:Since being uploaded to the social media site on Thursday, Lala's post has been viewed 11.9 million times and amassed more than 37,000 comments from supporters.
One TikTok user commented: "She should be mad at her husband if he's so distracted by some jeans".
A second added: "For real! Our bodies are not a distraction."
And while many comments were complimentary, many people agreed that the woman and her husband should have minded their own business.
This is just the most recent in a long line of stories where women have been told their bodies are a distraction.
Earlier this month, a woman by the name of Savannah Sims received an outpouring of support from social media after claiming that a woman asked her to "leave" a beach over her choice of bikini.
Check out Sims' video and bathing suit in the video below:While relaxing in Hawaii, Sims says that a family sat down near her, when she suddenly overheard the "mom" say to her partner: "No, I can't have that. That's not okay with me."
When Sims asked the woman if there was a problem, the stranger replied that she didn't want to be seeing Sims' "butt" and "ladyparts". Sims then shows her followers her bikini, saying: "To be clear, this is what I’m wearing. Pretty frigging normal right?"
The woman then asked Sims to "leave".
Explaining that the encounter "ruined" her day, Sims did leave the area.
However, after sharing her experience on TikTok last month, the video has since amassed over 987,000 views, with many commenters siding with Sims.
"But it's a beach. What does she expect? She needs to not go to a beach then lol," one person commented.
A second added: "As a native islander from the Big island... we do not claim her. That is NOT the Aloha spirit we are raised with."
I think it's time we all stopped commenting on other people's bodies - okay?
