Prepare to feel emotional because an 89-year-old grandpa got himself dressed up for his first date in 30 years and she didn't show up.
Dating can be tough, especially with the emergence of dating apps that make the entire dating game feel far more superficial than it was in the first place.
But dating is often seen as a young person's game, and this clearly isn't the case as everyone has the right to love no matter what their age.
Joe Allington, 89, discovered exactly this after he tragically lost his wife in 2009 and now lives with his daughter and her family, as reported by the BBC.
Joe shot to fame during the Covid-19 lockdown when everybody turned to TikTok to entertain themselves when they were shut indoors for hours on end.
Going by the handle @grandadjoe1933, the grandpa has racked up an impressive 6.2 million followers as he performs in hilarious videos.
However some videos aren't comedic at all, as a video showing him being heartbreakingly stood up on a date has racked up over 1.1 million views.
The video shows Joe getting himself ready for his big date while stating that it is his first dinner date in 30 years, which is a huge occasion.
Joe sits patiently at a table in a restaurant, nervously checking his phone to make sure his date hasn't been canceled, but after an hour of waiting it becomes clear that she isn't going to show up.
The loveable grandpa appeared to still enjoy his meal despite being stood up but viewers were quick to share their sympathies.
One person commented: "Some people are just inconsiderate. Good riddance. You deserve someone kind," and a second added: "Awww I am so so sorry, but you look dashing as always."

A third said: "You my friend are one of the most respectable people I will see on my fyp [for you page]. Waiting an hour and not badmouthing someone. You are an inspiration."

Others stated that they would be honored to go on a date with Grandpa Joe and that anybody who stands him up isn't worth his time anyway.
We're confident that Joe will soon find the love he deserves.
