Accents have always fascinated me.
I've always found it incredibly bizarre how there can be so many different dialects in one country. For example, per English Live, there are more than 37 dialects in the British Isles - despite being a relatively small nation (when compared to the US).
And one of the most iconic accents in England in the Cornish accent - and one person who boasts a particularly thick version of the accent is TikToker Maria Warne's grandfather.

Genuinely, if there are any Americans that can understand a word this man is saying, I'll be thoroughly impressed.

Maria has amassed a following of over 155,000 on the video-sharing platform, thanks to her entertaining clips recorded at her family's cattle farm.
However, without a doubt the star of her channel is her grandfather Tom Warne (who she affectionately refers to as "granfer").

Why? Well, it has nothing to do with anything that Tom is saying - but more the way he says it.
Seriously, there is one video of Tom arguing with a commenter about whether or not a Hereford is a bull or a cow that has over 4.8 million views!

But despite being incomprehensible, Maria's followers cannot get enough of her grandpa, with people in the comments section flooding Tom with praise:
One TikTok user wrote: "I couldn't understand a word and I love it". Which was echoed by another, who commented: "I have no clue what is being said but I can't stop watching."
In fact, many of Maria's followers believe Tom sounds like Hagrid from the Harry Potter movies (played by Robbie Coltrane).
Tom's presence on TikTok has even grown so large that people have started messaging Maria asking her to get her grandfather to said certain phrases - and even a Shakespeare sonnet!
I think we can all agree that Maria's granfer needs to protected at all costs, because we all absolutely adore him!
