A groom waited for the perfect moment to get his revenge on his partner who had been cheating on him with his best man.
Finding the love of your life is an incredible moment and can make a person feel like they can take on the world, and in many cases, it ends up leading to marriage.
But unfortunately, not every story has a happy ending as relationships can break up for one reason or another, with one of the most heartbreaking reasons being when one partner is unfaithful.
Sadly, this is exactly what happened to one groom but he decided not to act as soon as he found out, and waited to call out his partner in front of their extended family and friends.
The story comes from the Unfiltered Bride podcast, and a clip of the tale was uploaded to TikTok where it left viewers in utter disbelief.
Georgie told her co-host Beth: "I've got another story to tell you, I can't tell you who told me because I'm not really allowed to tell the story. So there was a wedding, and they did the wedding, the bride and groom."
She explained that the wedding went as planned including the ceremony, and then everyone sat down for the meal and the father of the bride did his speech.
It was when the groom stood to make his speech that things took a turn, as Georgie explained: "Groom stands up and says 'just before I like properly get started, there's envelopes coming round now if you could all open them up.'"
Inside the envelope were images of the bride apparently engaging in sexual activity with the groom's best man, which caused a stir amongst the wedding party.
"[He] drops the microphone - and him and all his family knew about it - and left. Because they wanted the bride to have had to pay for the food," Georgie explained.
The bride's family had paid for the entire event and the groom had made sure that he enjoyed every moment - and that they had to foot the large bill - before revealing his big secret.
People flooded the comments with their thoughts, as one person wrote: "Life is all about timing! What a legend!"
A second questioned: "But if they’re at the reception making speeches then they’ve already had the ceremony and he married her."
Though someone was quick to come back with a response: "Can get it annulled easily because of the proof of infidelity I’m guessing."
The moral of this story is quite a simple one - don't cheat on your partner, and definitely don't photograph it.
