'Boy' caught smoking at soccer game reveals he's actually a 36-year-old father

You never know what you're going to see in a crowd when you watch live sports. With a stadium crammed full of ten-of-thousands of excited fans, there's no predicting what could be shown on your television screens when the camera pans t0 the crowd.

However, Twitter exploded on Sunday evening, after a "child" was spotted smoking a cigarette during a soccer game between Turkish teams Bursaspor and Fenerbahce.

The match was already a heartwarming affair, with both teams agreeing that all proceeds from the game would be donated to organizations that fight against diseases such as leukemia, as well as foundations that support kids with autism and Down's syndrome.

But when cameras panned to what appeared to be a young fan dressed in green Bursaspor scarf and shirt smoking a cigarette, many viewers took to social media to voice their concerns.

Check out the alarming footage in the video below. How old do you think he is?

What makes the video even more concerning is how well the "young" fan handles the cigarette, and how unconcerned the other boy sat next to him looks.

It wasn't long before viewers and news outlets from around the world started to tweet their concern for the fresh-faced fan:

However, per The Sun, Turkish news outlets have now reported that the "young" fan is actually a 36-year-old father.

Seriously, I was always told smoking prematurely ages your appearance - but this guy looks like his puffing on the elixir of eternal life.

The boyish-looking father had in fact brought along his son to the game, as they witnessed the 'Green Crocodiles' claim a 2-1 victory over Fenerbahce, according to a post on Yureginikoyortaya's Instagram account.

You never know who or what you're going to spot in a crowd. This is the moment Meghan Markle spotted one of her biggest Instagram fans in a crowd:

Per The Sun, Twitter users hailed the dad as a modern "Benjamin Button", with another user claiming he had "took the water from the fountain of all youth".
