Many industries have been hit hard by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, with social distancing measures and lockdowns being imposed by governments all over the world. The airline industry, for instance, has been dealt a considerable blow as countries continue to close borders and ban travel.

Whereas many people who work in offices are able to work from home, the same cannot be said for those in the travel industry.

Or can it? One content creator by the name of Wes Barker has shown us what it would like if flight attendants could ''work from home''.

Teaming up with his wife Kirsten, the pair filmed a comedy sketch showing a ''flight attendant'' retaining her cabin crew professionalism in her own home.

When the sketch was posted on Facebook, many users, particularly those in the travel industry, took to the comments to express their appreciation for the video.

One wrote: "Thank you so much! As a flight attendant with an uncertain future at the moment, this really made me laugh out loud. The whole thing was brilliant. All flight attendants around the world could sure use this right now and I know it’s being shared repeatedly throughout our FA community. Thank you!"

Another added: "I needed a good laugh already! I had tears coming down my face! You made my day! I know your job is not an easy one. I also work in the travel industry. Some questions clients would ask and of course you had to keep a straight face when you gave your answer to this question at the registration desk. What time is the noon lunch? etc. I could write a book."

Other commenters either had friend and family in the travel industry or simply felt for those in the industry:

One shared: "This is pretty funny... but sad too... I have flight attendant friends and their hours are slashed tremendously. Some fear that they will lose their jobs. Super funny video still! Thanks for this witty video.

Another commented: "I think your video is shared many...many.. many times in the Airline world and beyond, I have done too.. its done SUPER!! Tears where running down my eyes Its done Great, and the face expression from your stewardess is worth more than a 10!!
