Homeless man looks like a 'supermodel' after barber gives him a free haircut

Social media users have been amazed by the transformation of a homeless man after a barber treated them to a free haircut this week.

According to The Daily Star, the video in question was uploaded to TikTok by a barber who goes by the handle @jaypro.tv on the platform.

In an inspirational video, @jaypro.tvshared a before and after clip of the man's makeover, shearing his tangled hair and trimming his beard to make it neater.

The barber gives him a smart fade on the sides, along with a sharp beard that works to reveal the handsome face under the hair.

The Daily Star reports that the man asked the barber for some money, to save up enough for a haircut and eventually find himself a job.

According to the barber, the man had "lost his kids and just wanted his family back". He went on to explain that he was so moved by the man's plight that he decided to give him a new haircut completely free of charge.

A number of other TikTok viewers have since taken to the comments to compliment the homeless man on his brand new looks, amazed by how different he looked.

For instance, one commenter wrote: "super model yo."

Another person added simply: "killed it."

An enthusiastic viewer wrote: "I found this story on Google... Random acts of kindness, I hope other people follow because of that act [...] God bless you."

Someone else chimed in: "He's so handsome."

However, one commenter was skeptical about the footage and wrote: "This guy is not homeless. Look at the beard even though it's long hair, it was lined up on the cheek. Fishing for likes."

However, another TikTok user defended the video, and offered an alternative explanation, writing in response: "He could just be recently homeless or gotten his hair styled before. You can't tell someone's housing situation by how lined up their hair is."

It just goes to show that a fresh haircut can make all the difference in the world.
