A barber has gone viral on social media after shaving his head to support his customer with cancer.
The heartwarming video was shared by barber Neftali Martin (@neftabarber) on TikTok, who is currently being treated for cancer.
Neftali decided to film the moment that he had his hair shaved off because of his cancer treatment, but what he didn't expect what for his co-worker Joel to do exactly the same thing in an act of solidarity.
In the footage, which has been viewed over nine million times, Neftali tears up when he realizes what Joel is doing.
Watch the incredible act of compassion below:Once both of their heads were shaved, Joel comforted Neftali, then used a hairdryer to get rid of any excess hair left on the men after they'd received their new looks.
Needless to say, the comments section of the video was flooded with messages of support and praise.
One TikTok user wrote: "Man did not even hesitate to take his own hair off."

A second TikTok user wrote: "Bro. Idk what you just did to me but I needed that feeling of restoration in humanity."

A third added: "instant tears. amazing. people with big hearts are still out there [and] this video proves it. much respect and love to you both. [sic]"

Meanwhile, a TikTok user who also lost their hair while undergoing chemotherapy wrote: "Been in your shoes brother lost all my hair during chemo treatment, much respect to this Barber... it's the little things that last forever."

Neftali later posted the clip again to Instagram, where he opened up about what happened in the barbershop in Alicante, Spain.
He wrote: "'You are not alone' - those were the words of my great friend and co-worker immediately after he shaved his head, telling me that until my hair grew back, he was going to continue shaving with me.
"For those who do not know him @imjooeel is not just a co-worker, he is like a brother to me. I love you bro."
The footage was also shared by the Lords and Barbers account, who wrote: "We want to travel this path with you, together as we have always been. We want to show you what true friendship is, because we are all one.
"For the moments that we have passed and those that we have left to live. What the barbershop unites, let no one separate it."
