An influencer has shared a final video bidding farewell to her social media followers after beginning end-of-life care for her rare form of bone cancer.

In 2016, Elena Huelva, who has over 657,000 followers on Instagram, was diagnosed with a form of bone cancer called Ewing sarcoma.

Since then, Huelva has used her Instagram page to document her cancer journey. Unfortunately, she was recently told by doctors that her condition had deteriorated and that the disease had spread to her throat - making it difficult to breathe.

In her latest and potentially final post on her social media, the 20-year-old - who lives in Spain - posted a heartbreaking video revealing that "things were not going well" with her health, before saying her final goodbyes.

Watch her final post below:

Speaking from her hospital bed, with oxygen tubes around her nose, Huelva said (translated from Spanish to English): "They found more disease in my windpipe, which is very dangerous, as you know because that's where we breathe. I don't need to say much more," per the Daily Mail.

Ewing sarcoma is a rare type of cancer that occurs in bones or in the soft tissue around the bones, most commonly starting in the legs or pelvis but can occur in any bone, or - less often - in the soft tissue.

It is more common in children and teenagers but can be found in patients of any age, according to the Mayo Clinic.

The influencer then explained that although she wished she wouldn't have to make a video like this, she had succeeded in shedding light on the rare condition.

"No matter what happens, I know that my life has not been in vain because I have fought and I have achieved what I want, to [bring awareness to the disease]," she continued.

"At the end of the day, life is about living and making memories with people, and I take away many good memories with lots of wonderful people and many other things," she concluded, adding, "I would like to thank you for all the affection you have always given me. I love you."

The influencer captioned the devastating video: "I wanted to drop this video here because at the end of life is the memories we take, the people, the love, and I've already won. For love, for [the] fight, for people, forever."

Naturally, her followers were shattered when they watched the clip and took to the comment section to send supportive messages.

Tomás Páramo, the co-founder of the Himba collection, wrote: "It's been a long time since your desire won Elena. You are the ultimate example of strength and overcoming. We will never let go of your hand, thank you for teaching us so much every day and for conquering the world with that unstoppable smile. I love you so much, Elena."

Author Paloma Blanc shared: "Elena, your desire has won us over. We always talk about we need to make a better world. You made it, you made it better, you made it prettier. You've won us over. Stay strong, Elena."

Spanish singer India Martínez also commented: "My darling you are an example of constant love and struggle. Your desire always wins!!!!! We love you."

Lastly, Artist Vicky Gómez wrote: "Gorgeous! You are amazing!! You've taught us all so much... THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU and of course, you have won and will always win!! Because winning is a matter of attitude not results and you know that better than anyone! We love you, we admire you and we are with you."

In an earlier post to Instagram, the influencer explained to her supporters that she had been admitted to a hospital last week while in Madrid, Spain, after she "started breathing in a weird way" with "little whistles".

She courageously disclosed at the time: "We came to the ER and they made me a plate and stabilized me. I have not heard good news... so this afternoon I will be transferred to Hospital de Seville and Monday I will start with some radiotherapy."

Huelva concluded: "I need a little of your energy and love, I'm having a bit of a streak. Thanks for everything always."

We're sending Huelva all of our love and support.
