An Instacart delivery driver has gone viral on social media after revealing that she accidentally accepted an order with no tip that took her over an hour to complete.

Taking to TikTok to share her story, Angelica (@angelicaa__ca) starts her now-viral video in her car, explaining her exasperation are accidentally accepting a 70-item grocery order with no tip.

Angelica explains that she had been sitting in her car for "two hours" waiting for an order to come in when she accepted the substantial Walmart grocery order.

"But the thing is, there was no tip," she says, "And I didn't see it until after I accepted [the order]."

Explaining that she was concerned about canceling the order due to her already high cancelation rate, Angelica went on to complete the order, which - before taxes and gas costs - worked out at just over $20 in wages for her.

Check out Angelica's order below:

In the video, Angelica shared footage as she stacked the grocery cart high - revealing that the order contained large cases of drinks, meat, and chips.

After taking over an hour to collect the order and deliver the groceries to the customer, Angelica received - drum roll please - no tip.

After amassing over 600,000 views, it was time for people in the comments section to voice their opinions on tipping delivery drivers.

Of course, with it being in the US, there were many people who defended Angelica and proclaimed that she should have absolutely received a tip.

One person commented: "Hell yes a tip is necessary!!!!!! All that for 20 dollars?????"

Another added: "People saying money is tight and everything so expensive not to tip but if I can’t afford to tip then I don’t place an order, I’d go to the store."

"That absolutely should have a tip," a third wrote.

"There is NEVER a reason not to leave a tip," commented a fourth.

"Seriously people, if you can’t afford to tip then shop for yourself. I’m so sorry," added a fifth.

However, there were also many people who disagreed - writing that tips should never be expected and that Angelica knew the risks when taking a job as a delivery driver.

"I would tip. But Tip is optional. And you decided to sign up for [Instacart," one person wrote.

Another agreed, writing: "What you don't understand is that you shouldn't be mad at the customers not tipping you you should be made at the company not paying you more."

And a third added: "a tip is not mandatory. so don't expect it."
