Yesterday, Jessy Taylor - a social media influencer - went viral over a video she made about her Instagram account getting deleted, as it meant she would have to get a nine-to-five job.

The 21-year-old vlogger, who had an impressive 113,000 followers on her 'gram before it got taken down, posted an impassioned request to her fans to stop "ruining [her] life" by reporting her pictures, as it was her only source of income.

You can see her emotional plea here:

"I'm in the middle of editing and my Instagram account got deleted. I've tried to get it back, I'm calling everyone I can," she said through tears.

"I'm nothing without my following.

"I want to say to everybody that's reporting me: Think twice because you're ruining my life, because I make all of my money online, all of it and I don't want to lose that.

"I know people like to see me be down and be like them and the ninety percenters - the people who work nine-to-five - that is not me. I am in LA to not be like that. I've worked so f*****g hard to get to where I'm at and for that to get taken from me is the worst feeling in the world."

She then explained that, before she gained her following, she used to work as a prostitute.

"I don't do that anymore because I make all my money online," she said. "I don't want to go back to that life."

Unfortunately for her, the blogger's plea did not go down as she had hoped, and she attracted a lot of backlash online - especially after it transpired that she comes from a wealthy family.

However, since the initial video and the negative response from some viewers, she's doubled down on her stance and posted another video slamming her "haters".

"The hate comments don't get to me. I just laugh at them - to a point," she said.

"Just because my parents are rich, doesn't make me rich. This whole house that you f*****g see me recording in is my place. I paid $7,500 just to move in here."

Then, she showed off some of her pricey accessories, which she says she's worked hard for.

"This Gucci bag," she said. "I literally worked so f*****g hard for it. This is all my money. This isn't mommy and daddy's money. At the end of the day I'm 21 years old. I am an adult, bro. I have sex. I do whatever the f**k I want at this point, you know. I'm a grown ass woman. Stop treating me like some little girl."

Here's the follow-up video:

Once again, though, the comments were almost unanimously against her.

"Sweetheart, you're not an adult. When you act like an adult, you'll be treated as an adult," said one commenter. "I don't think you're crazy. I think you're vapid."

"Great to see that you have your priorities straight. GucciBag is more important that anything else?" added another.

Unfortunately, it seems that if Jessy was hoping to win back followers with this video, her plan has seriously backfired.
