A pair of pals faked a proposal 30,000 feet in the air so they could get free bottomless champagne on a flight.

A TikToker named Roman Romero decided to get down on one knee in front of a cabin full of other passengers and a happy woman, apparently called Lisa.

“One time I faked a proposal to a friend of mine on a long plane ride to get bottomless champagne for free," Romero penned in the caption, adding a laughing face and bottle of champagne emojis.

In the footage of the fake romantic act - which was filmed by a passenger sitting next to the pair - the man is seen standing up at the end of the aisle and speaking to his companion after two glasses of champagne are brought to her seat.

Watch the TikTok below:

"Two and a half years ago Lisa and I met on the airplane flying to New York City, every moment since then has been absolutely magical," he said to his female companion as she giggled in her seat.

"You’re the most beautiful woman I know, inside and out, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Lisa, will you marry me?" he asked, getting down on one knee.

Lisa then laughed, eventually saying: "What? Yes," which prompted cabin crew members and fellow passengers to burst into cheer and applause after witnessing the theatrics.

Romero added a second clip which shows a member of the flight crew - who the TikToker says was one of the pilots - breaking out into song with a ukelele to serenade the happy couple.

The video was posted in 2020 and went viral on the platform, accumulating 19.8 million views and 5.6 million likes. Many people were shocked and impressed by the man's brazen stunt and took to the comment section to share their reactions.

One person pointed out that the pair was "wrong" for making the flight attendant emotional with their stunt.

Another user exclaimed: "NOT HOW EXCITED THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT AT THE BEGINNING IS," and a third quipped: "I feel like the pilot had been waiting his whole career for this moment 'packs ukelele just in case this flight is THE FLIGHT.'"

"OMG THAT CUT TO THE END OF SONG- so much celebration. I almost feel bad for the crew that’s just crazy!!!" someone else added.

A user who is a flight attendant remarked: "Kudos to the creativity. I’d probably be giving y’all bottomless whatever as well to celebrate yalls engagement lmaooo."

The airline the pair was flying with is unclear, though Romero later posted videos from a holiday in Mexico.

The TikToker revealed in the comment section that his fake fiancée is actually engaged to her real boyfriend, who she was dating at the time of the staged proposal.
