A man has revealed that he first learned about his rejection for a job after he was accidentally CC'd in an email from the company's HR department.

As reported by The Independent, Alexander - who uses the handle @noveltygay on TikTok - took to social media to share a series of videos about how he found out he had been ousted from a potential job role after mistakenly being included in a private email chain.

Writing over the video, Alexander said: "Yeah breakups hurt and stuff but that y'all ever been CC'd on [HR] emails talking about why they don't wanna hire you?"

He added in the video caption: "Hate it here."

Check out Alexander's first video below:

The email was reportedly sent by the hiring manager of a Utica coffee company, and read: "Well that's interesting okay so let's reject him…"

The first video has amassed more than 4.5 million views since being posted earlier this week, with TikTokers desperate to know more about the bizarre situation.

In the highly anticipated part 2, Alexander revealed that he had applied to work at the company on three different occasions, with the most recent instance being two weeks prior to the original TikTok post. He had also applied for a job back in December.

Alexander explained that the email from HR stated that he was being rejected from the role because he did not show up for the interview back in December... however, he then shared screenshots to prove that he had asked them what time they wanted to interview him.

"They had supposedly sent me an interview time for this company, I had never gotten it," he said in the second installment of the saga.

"I applied again later on and this email proved to me that they had thought they sent me interview times and they had not. It was not my fault I didn’t show up for the interview," he added.

Alexander explained that he was "broke as s**t", and would never "no call, no show" for a job interview.

He then revealed that he did respond to the emails, first sending them a message that simply read: "Ouch."

In a second reply, Alexander explained to those in the company that he had attempted to set up an interview back in December, but never received a time - sending them the screenshots as proof. He said he has not had a reply.

Alexander told viewers that he is a "good" employee and has received training from "nationally certified baristas" - but also that he has no intention of working for a company that is "disorganized".
