A mother who is covered in tattoos has claimed that tattoo shops won't let her have appointments anymore as she is "beyond help."
Melissa Sloan, 46, from Wales, United Kingdom has previously made headlines after she was reportedly stopped from watching her children's nativity play in the school hall and had to watch it through a window instead.
Speaking to the Daily Star, the heavily-inked mom of two revealed that teachers were put off by her "extreme" look and that Christmas is a particularly difficult time for her.
"No Christmas parties and when I go to my child's school I don't get invited," Sloan said. "They said once for me to go to the back garden and look through the class window they told me to do so."
The 46-year-old last year revealed to the Daily Star that she has been "banned" from tattoo shops after artists declared that her face is "beyond help."
Sloan carries a tattoo gun with her at all times in case inspiration strikes while she is out and about, and her partner Luke often gives her "prison style" tattoos, which is where the problems with other artists begin.
She revealed: "Tattoo shops shut the door on me – tattooists won't let me in. When I had this done [my face], there's one about five miles up the road and they won't do it."
She finished off by joking: "They won't do it because I'm beyond – beyond help because I've gone too far."
If tattoo artists refuse to work with her, she will be unable to get larger more intricate pieces done as she and her partner only have smaller designs in their toolkit.
Though ever since she took to TikTok to air her grievances, she has claimed that she has received messages from artists willing to tattoo her free of charge.
"I'm shocked that the tattoo artist is accepting me for who I am because they don't see behind me [the tattoos] but he's offered me to go," Sloan revealed. "I'm very surprised."
The 46-year-old explained that she gets three new tattoos a week, and this has resulted in about three layers of ink on her face.
Tattoo artists not wanting to work with Sloan isn't the first issue she encountered, as she revealed that she struggles to find employment due to her look.
"I can’t get a job. They won’t have me. I applied for a job cleaning toilets where I live and they won’t have me because of my tattoos," she told the Daily Star.
The mother of two went on to say that she would happily accept any job offer that comes her way, but people are always apprehensive to hire her due to the number of tattoos she has.
Despite all this, Sloan has no intention of stopping the ink as she continues filling her three-a-week quota.
