A new update has emerged following the firefighter's dramatic confrontation with his allegedly unfaithful wife during his own 40th birthday party.
Nick Galante's explosive meltdown - where he publicly accused his wife of infidelity - has captivated social media, racking up millions of views.
Originally shared on TikTok by Cancel This Pod, the footage shows the man standing beside Egues and addressing a room full of stunned guests.
What began as what seemed to be a touching speech quickly spiraled into a profanity-laced confrontation.
Watch part one of the moment below:
The video starts with the firefighter calling his wife up to the stage, initially appearing to surprise her with a gift. Holding a microphone and a ring box, he begins, “Happy wife, happy life bulls**t.”
He then asked her to remove her wedding rings and handed them back to him. He kissed her forcefully - a moment some viewers dubbed the “kiss of death” or a “Fredo kiss” - before launching into a profanity-laced tirade.
“I f****** know everything,” he shouted. “That’s right, b****, I know everything. I know all about the Plan B pills you had to take, you filthy f****** w**re. F*** you. I f****** know everything. Don’t act like you don’t f****** know.”
The firefighter went on to insult the man allegedly involved, mocking his anatomy and accusing his wife of betrayal. “I hate you. I’ve never hated anyone in my life, but I hate you for what you did to me, for the betrayal. I hate the life you stole from our children," he added.
His wife, maintaining her composure, responded only, “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” as Galante continued to threaten sharing his alleged evidence with party guests.
Reactions in the room ranged from stunned silence to murmurs of “Are you sure?” as guests attempted to de-escalate the scene. Galante, unmoved, declared he didn’t want “anybody who now sides with this piece of sh**” to remain at his party.
The clip ignited fierce online debate, with one commenter writing, “That’s a king that knows his worth,” and another saying, “This is the only way I think cheaters should be exposed! In front of friends and family.”
Watch part two below:
Now, weeks after the viral eruption, sources told The New York Post that Galante served Egues with divorce papers on May 17.
“Nick is ready to move on and put this entire chapter of his life behind him,” a close friend told the outlet. “The trust there is lost, which is sad for their [two] kids. Frankly, I can’t really blame him for [pursuing] the divorce, because he’s still fairly young.”
While the couple continues to live under the same roof in Nutley, insiders say reconciliation is off the table.
“You don’t confront your wife in front of every single person you know like that unless you’re certain in your heart you’re done [with her],” a source said. “There are lots of lessons to be learned here.”
Since the incident, both Galante and Egues have remained silent on social media, and a GoFundMe campaign created to support Galante has been removed.

A groom has shocked TikTok by appearing to take savage revenge on his bride.
In a clip of their wedding that has taken social media by storm, a newly married couple can be seen enjoying their big day in front of a crowd of guests in China.
But things suddenly take a turn for the worse when the groom plays an X-rated video of his bride in bed with another man. Worst of all, the man is reportedly no stranger to the couple - but the husband of the bride's pregnant sister.
News.com.au reports that the incident took place back in 2019, but has since resurfaced on social media after being shared by TikToker @Koolprince33. News outlet Asia One reported at the time that the couple had been engaged for two years prior to their wedding.
@Koolprince33 captioned his post: "Groom played a video of his wife cheating on him with her pregnant sister-in-law’s husband in front of everybody."
The scandalous video begins with the bride and groom walking down an aisle hand in hand while their friends and family cheer them on.
Check out the video below:
However, midway through the celebrations, footage of the bride and her brother-in-law in the bedroom is suddenly projected onto the wall behind the couple. The exposed bride is horrified and throws her bouquet at her husband. Meanwhile, per a translation by News.co.au, he can be heard shouting at her: "Did you think I didn’t know about this?"
Guests at the wedding were utterly shocked - as were viewers on social media, with this particular clip racking up over 6.9 million views.
While viewers were generally stunned by the scandalous wedding reception, opinions were divided over whether the groom was in the right or the wrong.
Many sided with him. "He needed to come with the receipts for everyone so she wouldn't be lying to her fam and friends," one person pointed out, while another claimed it was the "best revenge - in front of all their family and friends."
Others agreed by slamming the bride, saying she had no right to get upset. "She had the nerve to get mad as if she’s the victim," one commented. Another wrote sarcastically: "And SHE’S the one that gets mad at the end?"
Some thought that the groom was foolish for having a lavish wedding just so he could expose his cheating bride.
"Why waste thousands of $$ if he knew," one commented. "Rich people sure know how to waste money and everyone time," agreed another.
This will certainly be a wedding that neither the bride or groom - or anyone else for that matter - will ever forget.

A marriage proposal took a mortifying twist over the weekend when a man tried to pop the question at a Major League Baseball game.
Worst of all, hundreds of shocked spectators were there to witness the moment that he was savagely rejected by his girlfriend, who didn't just say no - she slapped him across the face.
In a video that has since gone viral on Twitter, the couple can be seen talking in the stands at a Toronto Blue Jays and Boston Red Sox.
Watch the cringeworthy moment unfold below:As they make their way down the stairs, the man abruptly stops his girlfriend, kisses her, and tells her: "I love you."
Slowly, he begins to kneel down and his shocked girlfriend gasps in surprise as she realizes he is about to propose.
Meanwhile, the moment catches the attention of people in the surrounding crowd, who begin pulling their cameras out and videoing the moment.
They look on in astonishment as the man pulls out a black ring box, and opens it - only to reveal a Ring Pop candy.
Upon seeing the lollipop, the young women's mood immediately changes, and she slaps her boyfriend across the face.
"What the f*** is wrong with you," she shouts, throwing her drink at him.
The video cuts off before her boyfriend has time to clarify whether the proposal was genuine or a prank - or whether we find out if they made up or not.
Even so, the clip sparked debate amongst viewers, who were divided as to whether the girl's reaction was justified - or whether she should learn to take a joke.
Many were of the opinion the man had dodged a bullet if his girlfriend's reaction was anything to go by. "She isn’t worth it man. Lol so aggressive. U got her though lol priceless [sic]," one commented.
Another claimed the man had the real ring in his back pocket, writing: "He had the main ring in his pocket if she can’t get a joke she better not be with you."
A third person thought that the idea of being proposed to with a candy ring was actually quite sweet. "Here's me literally wanting to be proposed to with a ring pop cause the actual ring can come later I think what he did was super cute," they commented.
However, others pointed out that the girlfriend might have been embarrassed by the proposal. One wrote: "Any chance she thought it was a cruel joke to go viral and was embarrassed?"
"Humiliate the one you love in front of thousands?? [Should of] been a real diamond. Run girl! I woulda done the same. it's called self-worth," another commented.
"Good call queen," added a third.

A woman has sparked a debate on relationships after she shared a video showing her husband appearing to look at photos and videos of other women on social media.
The woman - who goes by the handle @lyjones0 on TikTok - took to the video-sharing platform earlier this month to share her sneaky post. The video shows her standing on the floor above her husband, as he sits on the couch below while on his cell phone.
As she starts to zoom in on his screen, it's clear that he's scrolling through pics and videos of other women.
Over the top of the video she wrote: "My husband forgot we got a second floor balcony (laughing emoji)."
Check out the sneaky video below:The video has since amassed over 3.1 million views and more than 4,600 comments from fellow TikTokers. In fact, in the video's comments section, a debate was ignited over whether or not the husband was actually doing anything wrong.
"Imagine if men spent as much time trying to please their partners as they did looking at other women," one TikTok user commented.
Another added: "This is when you lose interest in your husband. And he wonders why you won’t be romantic with him."
A third wrote: "My partner did this and I never felt the same or secure with him again. It’s not what it is, it’s what it means. He knew he blew it too."
"That would give me the ick and I’d end up leaving," a fourth commented.
Others, however, were more supportive of the husband, with one guy writing: "He’s just looking. We all do it. Let the poor guy alone."
One TikToker joked: "I wouldn’t care about my husband looking at girls he could never pull. Hell, he barely pulled me."
Even comedian David A. Arnold got involved in the discussion, commenting: "Let that man be. S**t."
It would appear as if @lyjones0 found the funny side in the situation, as she responded in a follow-up video by shooting a Nerf gun at her husband.
And we can't deny it - it was a cracking shot:What are your thoughts on this debate? I personally don't see anything wrong with scrolling through social media - no harm, no foul. Let us know what you think in the comments section.

One man has come under fire online as he did something "f**ked up" and "disrespectful" at his friend's wedding.
The now-viral moment, captured in a TikTok video that’s racked up over 2.5 million views, features Alyssa Fowler standing on the dance floor at her friend’s wedding in Jacksonville, Florida, when her partner, Josh Stepherson, suddenly dropped to one knee.
The bride, standing directly behind the couple, gasped in real-time as she realized what was happening.
Caught off guard but smiling, Fowler quickly turned to her friend to check: had Stepherson asked permission?
“No, he didn’t, but it’s okay! Say yes!” the bride responded enthusiastically.
Fowler said yes, sealing the spontaneous proposal with a hug as the bride and groom cheered and embraced the newly engaged couple.
To join the TikTok trend — “a moment that felt like Hozier’s yell” — where people share life milestones set to Noah Kahan’s “Northern Attitude (with Hozier),” Fowler shared the emotional video online.
But the clip didn’t just generate applause — it sparked a social media firestorm about wedding etiquette and whether proposing at someone else’s wedding is ever okay.
One reaction video labeled the move as “f**ked up” and “disrespectful.”
Others piled on, claiming that proposing during another couple’s big day steals attention and leeches off someone else’s carefully curated moment.
“He didn’t plan it, he didn’t spend money on it. Just lazy,” one commenter wrote.
Another took it a step further, saying, “Your boyfriend is so uncreative he couldn’t find a unique way to do that for you? This feels so hillbilly trailer parkish.”
Some sympathized with Fowler, suggesting she deserved better: “His girlfriend deserved her own special moment,” one wrote, calling the proposal an “ick.”
Still, not everyone was upset. Some users came to the couple’s defense.
“Always try having an open opinion, these two must be close friends … Nothing wrong with that,” one supporter said.
Another added: “Why does everyone think getting married is about being the centre of attention for the day? Marriages are about bringing people together and love. Love makes the world go round, folks.”
Fowler later told People that the proposal wasn’t premeditated.
Her boyfriend, Stepherson — who she’s been dating since 2021 — had intended to propose the night before but never got the chance. The ring had been in his wallet all along.
Then, during the reception, fate threw him the bouquet — literally. After catching it during the bouquet toss, he seized the moment.
“We acknowledge that it would have been more appropriate for Josh to have asked beforehand, but it was an in-the-moment decision. They were both very happy for us,” Fowler explained.
“All guests that I have spoken to since have said the timing couldn’t have been better, and everything played out perfectly,” she added.
