A married couple who enjoy going on adult cruises have revealed the jaw-dropping number of people they sleep with each week on board.
Adult cruises are growing in popularity as many people are seeking to live out their fantasies on the high seas.
Emily Spice, 33, and her husband Darren, 34, are no strangers to a swingers cruise - and they revealed exactly what goes down (no pun intended) once the ship leaves the shore.
The couple have so far embarked on five swingers cruises, where they spend six days having sex with strangers, after getting hooked on the unusual vacations back in 2023.
Emily told The Sun: "They’re our perfect holiday – sun, sea and more sex than you can imagine – we are completely hooked on them.
"The last one we went on was in November I ended up sleeping with 12 other people, and Darren had sex with 18 women – he’s got even more stamina than me.
"Sometimes it was with multiple other couples, enjoying an orgy in the playroom or a private cabin, and other times it was with just one other couple."
She revealed that they see many familiar faces the more cruises they go on, and have made friends with around 150 people who also enjoy the free love lifestyle.
Emily revealed that swingers cruises give them all the benefits they'd get from a regular all-inclusive holiday, as well as a lot of "extra excitement".
She explained: "If you’re into swinging it’s the perfect holiday. Every single ingredient you need for a sex filled break is there – from free condoms to playrooms, themed dress up nights and naked wrestling in paddling pools, which is so much fun.
"You could never get bored and that’s why we will go again and again."
The couple, who have been married for six years, actually stumbled into swinging - literally - after they accidentally went to a naturist resort that turned into a swinging club after dark.
Though they initially "ran away" when they saw people getting frisky, it sparked a curiosity they decided to explore further the following night.
Emily admitted: "Before we started swinging I’d only slept with one other man apart from Darren so it was a big leap. It’s hard to believe that I’ve now slept with 127 men and women, some of them on multiple occasions."
While guilt-free experimentation with other partners can sound like the dream, Emily warns that it's not for everyone.
She explained: "You can only do it if you’ve got a strong marriage. It’s a misconception that people do what we do because they’re bored of having sex with their partner.
"Our sex life has always been amazing. Our whole relationship has improved because to have a successful non-monogamous marriage you have to communicate and be completely open and honest which deepens your relationship. This lifestyle works for us."
Understandably, seeing your partner be intimate with someone else is not something everyone is comfortable with or can get past without feeling jealous, but for those that are into it, it can add another level to their main relationship.
For Emily and Darren, that first experience led them to regularly visit swingers clubs and even make some close friends that they swing with every week.
They first heard about swingers cruises in 2021 but admitted they thought it would be "filled with old people, sitting in their deck chairs, admiring the sunset," but the reality was quite different.
The ships can accommodate up to 5,800 passengers, and cabins on board range from £2,000 ($2,700) to £15,000 ($20,000) for a premium suite complete with a butler, hot tub on the balcony, and even a grand piano.
Emily revealed that passengers start communicating before the ship has even boarded, as a Facebook group is set up where people can get to know each other and arrange to meet up once they've set sail.
Emily revealed: "On our first cruise we were thoroughly over excited and made arrangements with other couples to meet for breakfast, lunch or supper every day.
"We had sex with a lot of them afterwards, either in our cabins or in one of the ship’s playrooms, and were exhausted!"
She admitted they learned from that lesson and now "ration" their time in order to keep their strength up, but do organize their planned hook-ups and parties they want to attend through a spreadsheet.
The couple also makes sure to communicate openly with one another, and if either of them has any reservations about potential play partners, they do not proceed.
Emily explained: "We must both be happy with anyone we play with. But once we have agreed it’s no holds barred, we can do anything in front of each other – witnessing our partner’s unbridled passion is part of the turn on.
"We always have sex together every day too so we feel completely connected."
As well as all the X-rated action, Emily and Darren also make sure they factor in some downtime to go sight-seeing when the ship docks at different locations.
They also make sure to keep on top of their sexual health and always practise safe sex, as well as getting STI tests every six weeks, especially before heading onto a cruise, which they see as much a part of their holiday preparation as getting a spray tan and eyebrow wax.
Emily revealed that they have no plans to ever stop swinging, joking: "I want to be that 92-year-old, still doing the splits and getting it on with strangers."

Have you ever wondered what goes on board a "spicy cruise"?
Temptation Cruises has become a go-to for those seeking a mix of sun, sea, and sexual adventure, offering everything from racy stage shows to educational workshops, but it’s the cruise’s secret “red room” that has everyone talking.
The X-rated cruises are not full-blown sex parties, but they’re certainly different enough for passengers to know they aren’t booking a family-friendly trip.
These cruises are strictly adults-only, geared toward couples and open-minded singles ready to explore their sexuality while traveling at sea.
Temptation Cruises features “playrooms” and clothing-optional areas that allow guests to push their boundaries.
TikTok couple Bella and Jase shared their experience onboard, highlighting the ship’s theme parties, spa and sauna facilities, and live burlesque shows.
Intimacy coach and hypnotherapist Kate Shelor, who hosts racy seminars onboard, described the cruises to DailyMail.com as an environment where guests can embrace their desires without judgment.
“The Temptation Cruises aren't explicitly swingers cruises, but I would say that it's probably 60 to 70 per cent people who are in that lifestyle,” she explained. “The other 30 per cent are not, but they want a fun, sexy, adult atmosphere.”
Kate described the guests as ranging from their mid-twenties to mid-fifties, adding: “I would say there's people that are there to swing for sure, then there are couples who don't interact with other couples. They don't play, they don't swing, but they may want to do something a little wild.
“There’s a lot of people who may just want to push some personal boundaries and feel a little bit, you know, dangerous and exciting. And then there's also areas where you can be completely nude, but that is in the indoor pool area only and the rules are very strict.”
But what really happens in the “red room”?
According to Kate, “the Playroom is an exclusive area for couples only,” and it’s where some of the wildest experiences occur.
Cameras and photos are banned, and staff are stationed at the doors to protect the privacy of those inside.
Inside, couples can either observe while sipping a drink or join in on the action on circular beds with protective covers. Kate runs her “hypnotic sex seminar” in this space, guiding up to 60 couples toward a shared climax.
“I do a hypnotic sex seminar. It's couples only, but they can bring a third,” she said. Once inside, couples or throuples find a mattress, are blindfolded to heighten their senses, and are guided to touch each other until “in the end, you have a room full of people orgasming together.”
“They're asking me to do three instead of two on the next cruise because they're so popular!” she added, noting her seminars sell out every time.
Temptation Cruises has strict guidelines to ensure comfort and respect for all guests:
A married couple known for documenting their adventurous lifestyle has given followers a rare look inside what’s known as a "playroom" on spicy adult cruises, and the details have certainly sparked curiosity online.
Social media creators Bella and Jase, who regularly share insights into their unconventional relationship with thousands of followers, recently took viewers behind the scenes of one of the most talked-about areas on board.
The pair, who run the YouTube channel 4OURPLAY, are open advocates for the swinging lifestyle and often discuss both the upsides and challenges of their experiences.
They’ve previously highlighted the sense of community and connection they find among like-minded travelers, while also acknowledging that jealousy, cost, and compatibility can be obstacles within the lifestyle.
“There’s always going to be some kind of backlash in a stigmatized community,” they explained in an earlier video. Despite that, Bella and Jase remain unapologetically open about their adventures, including their latest reveal from aboard a recent cruise.
In an April YouTube upload, the couple shared a tour of the cruise’s exclusive playroom, a space reserved for adult guests during nighttime hours. They were granted access before it opened to the public, giving viewers a glimpse at what goes on when the lights come up.
Bella noted that the lighting and atmosphere change dramatically at night, describing the room as having background music and a more intimate mood once guests arrive. “At night, there’s obviously a lot of people doing things that we can’t show,” she teased.
The room itself is expansive, lined with beds surrounded by curtains that are usually drawn for privacy once the area opens. There are also sections for classes during the day, and at night, the space becomes a gathering point for consenting adults exploring their interests.
According to Bella and Jase, the playroom features around 40 beds, each equipped with towels, water, and protection for guest use. On one side, they discovered a small BDSM section, complete with restraints, padded furniture, and various accessories.
Bella appeared surprised by the range of bondage equipment and sex toys on display, noting that the area seemed designed for guests who want to “take things to the next level.”
Unusually, there are also two bowling lanes built into the playroom, a quirky detail that left even the couple amused.
Despite the room’s provocative reputation, Bella and Jase emphasized that it’s not a chaotic free-for-all. The couple explained that attendants and security staff regularly patrol the area to ensure all activity remains safe, consensual, and respectful.
“No drinks are allowed inside the playroom,” Jase added. Guests must leave cups and glasses at a designated table outside, where staff members watch over belongings.
Outside the room, a detailed list of rules and guidelines is displayed to remind participants of safety protocols and expectations.
Bella and Jase’s candid look at life aboard spicy cruises has once again stirred fascination (and debate) online. While some followers praise the couple’s openness and confidence, others question the lifestyle’s practicality and emotional impact.
Still, for Bella and Jase, it’s all part of living authentically. As they put it, exploring the world together (both in travel and in intimacy) is simply their way of connecting and sharing experiences without judgment.
Have you ever wondered what sort of things you get when you step onboard a "spicy" cruise?
If you're looking to take your vacation game up a notch and get a bit steamy, there are cruises that are specifically designed for that.
And to make things even more exciting, there are gift bags!
Bella, who shares her swinger lifestyle with her partner Jase on TikTok @4ourplay.com, recently documented her third trip on a Temptation cruise, a unique adults-only voyage aboard the Celebrity Summit.
Unlike standard cruises, these voyages invite guests to explore consensual adult fun, providing an environment where “couples, and strangers, can get frisky out in the open, swap sexual partners and display their kinks.”
The couple split their content between TikTok and YouTube, and in a YouTube vlog, she revealed what free stuff you can expect to get on board.
"Everybody gets this bag," Bella says as she holds up a bright yellow bag with "Naughty by Nature" written on it.
The couple advised to write your name or tie a distinctive ribbon on it so it doesn't get mixed up with other passengers.
To kick it off, the bag contains two pens and a magazine full of info, which is the height of excitement.
But as for the more NSFW stuff, there are packets of lubricant, and a do not disturb door sign for... obvious reasons.
You also get two yellow lanyards.
Bella, who is no stranger to the swinger scene, explained that she and Jase also participate in “hotel takeovers” and stay in swinger-specific resorts.
Onboard, they stayed in their usual cabin, which Bella described as “contemporary and modern,” featuring a spacious layout with a window, TV, couch, desk, and large bed, along with a bathroom she “loved.”
During the cruise, Bella showcased the large buffet where she and Jase reunited with friends, saying: “We got a bite to eat with some friends that we haven’t seen in a long time.”
Later, she revealed how she decorated their cabin door with memes referencing “orgies,” “foursomes,” and “double b***jobs,” adding: “It’s a known thing that swingers like to decorate their door and so these are our favorite memes that Jase and I made.”
A standout feature in swinger communities is the upside-down pineapple, a discreet symbol for those seeking lifestyle connections.
Bella and Jase embraced this tradition by hanging pineapples on their door, displaying hoodies with upside-down pineapples and anchors, and adding a magnet stating: “Cum on in, do not disturb.”
Bella’s TikTok comments revealed mixed reactions, with some viewers stunned by the idea of these cruises, writing: “My jaw dropped,” while others celebrated the concept, saying: “This is great. A safe place to have adult consensual fun. Everyone on the ship knows what’s up. I bet they have safety procedures. Smart.”
A former crew member on a Celebrity cruise echoed the intrigue, commenting: “I was a crew member for Celebrity Cruises and was onboard for one of these… I saw some things man.”
Temptation cruises enforce strict rules despite the “spicy” atmosphere, including a zero-tolerance policy on drugs, noise restrictions in corridors, and a ban on photos and videos in certain areas.
Pools and some deck spaces are topless-optional, but other areas like restaurants require clothing, and the cruise organizes daily workshops centered on intimacy and sexuality for singles and couples.
Vacations on a ship might sound like the perfect place for romance, but Lucy Southerton, who began working on cruise ships at just 19, is warning that relationships at sea can quickly turn complicated.
She explained in a YouTube video on her channel, Cruising As Crew, that getting involved with someone at sea is very different from dating a coworker on land.
"Now, the reason is if you're working a job on land, of course, everyone in the office likes the office gossip and is involved in everyone's business," she said.
"But you get to leave the office and go home to your friends and your family who are completely separate from those people that you work with," she added.
Lucy, from Birmingham, explained that life on a ship is completely different because you leave your friends and family behind, meaning your coworkers become your entire social circle.
"So you're going to be getting all of your needs met from this one group of people," she said.
"They're also going to be your professional team who you want to impress on a professional level if it's a career and you want to progress. And what this means is there is no escape."
She said that there's "no escape" from your colleagues because you see them every day, and they would want to gossip about the "new relationship that's sparking up between you and so and so".
While relationships can feel exciting at first, Lucy cautioned that things can quickly become uncomfortable if they don’t work out.
"And this is obviously amazing when everything is going well because it's fun to tell your work colleagues, 'Oh my God, we did this, we did this. It was so good. We had such a good time,'" she said.
"And it's really fun to see your crush at work. It adds a little bit of excitement to the day like, 'Oh my God, he's over there'. When the conversations you're having with your team members are, 'Yeah, I'm really upset, I'm really disappointed, or 'I've really upset him or her."
"And you can't escape him or her. You have to see them every day for the next four months," she said.
"That is when it gets a little bit sticky. And you know what? If we could control who we got feelings for, wouldn't life be literally 20 times easier?"
Another cruise insider, Megan McGuinness, who lives onboard with her husband, confirmed that relationships between crew members are common, but there are strict rules when it comes to passengers.
"The next thing was all the crew just hook up with each other - yeah, kinda, think of it as a small town - people are meeting, they’re dating," she said, per The Sun.
"It might be for a short time, they might end up married, having kids, who knows?"
However, she made it clear that crossing the line with guests can have serious consequences.
"Crew will get fired if they hook up with guests? Yes, for obvious reasons, self-explanatory," she said.
