If you've lost your hair but are still looking for love, then fear not, because there is now a dating app dedicated to bald people.

Now, as a bald person myself, I know how it feels to fall into a rather "niche" category when it comes to what other people are looking for in a partner. I can't tell you how many times I've heard, "I could never date a bald guy."

However, the matchmaking site Bald Dating has now launched with the hope of helping those who are bald or have thinning hair to find partners who "prefer it that way".

The site's description states: "Being bald can be very hard for some people and they lose their self-confidence.

"Bald Dating was created to show that being bald doesn’t matter. There are many people who don’t mind you being bald and there are even others who prefer it."

People wanting to sign up to the site need to tick just two requirements - either they are bald or thinning "up top", or are looking to date somebody who is.

The inclusive site was created by David Minns, AKA the "Niche Dating Man".

Minns hit headlines earlier this year when he launched a dating site for men with "dinky" penises. He has also created a site specializing in people looking for love with a 20+ year age gap.

Once signed up, Bald Dating provides users with a single like button, the ability to direct message users they're interested in, the ability to block users they're not, and does not require photos. Nudity and "overly sexual images" are banned.

Per the New York Post, it is free to sign up to Bald Dating, and a VIP upgrade will be provided soon.

Minns - a bald man himself - says he was indpired to create Bald Dating after seeing recent stories about "hatfishing", which is when men hide their baldness on dating sites by wearing a hit in their dating profiles.

"I made a dating site for men with a below-average penis size called Dinky One. Over 100,000 people have joined so far, you may think today’s world is [judgmental,] but in reality, anything goes if you’re confident," Minns writes.
