A woman has shared how she staged a fake wedding to get revenge on her ex.

Sarah Vilard, a 24-year-old investor and who studies business management and lives in Frankfurt, took to TikTok to post a video on Thursday, May 13 entitled simply: "Yup, I'm crazy".

The video shows that Vilard, who was left brokenhearted when her boyfriend decided to end their relationship, decided to show him what he was missing out on.

Take a look at Sarah's 'wedding video' right here:

Not content with simply going on holiday, or finding a new partner and pursuing a new relationship, Vilard instead hatched a devious scheme.

She hired an actor to play the part of her handsome groom and then convinced her friends to join her at a fake wedding celebration at the lavish Villa Kennedy in Frankfurt.

In the video, Vilard displayed a number of the pictures of the fake nuptials which she later uploaded to social media, purely to spite her ex.

Per Metro, Vilard later commented on her ex-boyfriend's reaction to the video by stating that he found out through Instagram and texted her, asking her to come to her house to talk.

Sarah replied that she wasn’t interested.

Vilard's post has since picked up a lot of attention from other TikTok users, racking up over 2.8 million views, and 517,000 likes at the time of writing.
