An Instagram model has left her followers divided after she revealed her struggles with sitting in airplane seats due to her famous bottom.

Airplane travel can be uncomfortable at the best of times, from being stuck next to strangers to the lack of legroom - but things only get worse if you can't fit in the seat at all.

Gracie Bon, 26, took to Instagram to share the struggles she faces when flying - even if it's in the luxury of first class - as her oversized derriere doesn't fit in any airplane seats.

The social media star, who's racked up 4.5 million followers thanks to her aforementioned booty, divided her fans when she shared her frustration that airlines won't make their seats larger to accommodate people with larger bodies.

She began by showing a clip of her standing on a travelator as she headed to her boarding gate, before showing herself squeezing into the wide seat and using a seatbelt extender - which was extremely loose on her tiny waist - to strap herself in.

Gracie told her followers: "Airplanes should have bigger seats. So today I had a flight and even if I was flying in first class I couldn't fit on the airplane seat. So this is a petition for all the airlines so big girls like me fly.

"It's not my fault to have an a** this big. Please just make them bigger!"

Her post was flooded with comments after she shared her travel difficulties, however, not everyone was sympathetic to her plight.

One commented: "Who elses fault is it? No one forced you to get the surgery," while another added: "You get them surgeries by accident?"

A follower suggested: "Buy two seats instead of one, clearly you've got plenty of money to afford them," while someone else wrote: "You did that to yourself honey! Nobody forced you to do this."

(Of course, these comments are nothing more than speculation as it is not known - nor anybody else's business - if Gracie has undergone any enhancement surgeries.)

One commenter who claimed to work as cabin crew pointed out that she was putting her safety belt around the wrong part of her body, adding: "Coming from a flight attendant your seatbelt goes around your waist not your thighs…so does she really need a seatbelt extension? No. A wider seat yes.. but not a seat belt extension. - Flight attendant with hips…"

A follower who also faced uncomfortable travels due to their curvy body added: "Agreed. I definitely need a larger seat and a seatbelt that doesn't have such a hard buckle. Could they throw in a tray that fits over big boobs?"

Others added: "Let’s start a rebellion!!!! This is unjust and unfair!!", "Airplane’s definitely need to make bigger and more comfortable seats," and: "I’m with ya plane seats way too small!"

To be fair, I don't think anyone - no matter how big or small they may be - would complain about having a more spacious seat on a plane.
