A fitness model has taken to Twitter to slam her local gym.
Shirls Larson - who has over 50,000 followers on Instagram where she goes by the handle @shortyshirls - claims that the gym kicked her out for taking racy photos mid-workout.
She explained in a tweet that she had been a member of the gym for six years, writing: "I was kicked out of my small hometown gym of which I've been a member for six years for taking tasteless Instagram pictures."
The influencer also shared a snap of herself in the locker room of her old gym, where she is posing in tiny pink shorts. Alongside this sizzling snap, she added a picture of herself in a decidedly more slobby outfit: a huge black T-shirt and grey sweatpants.
"Here's me at my new gym turning a new leaf," she wrote sarcastically, adding: "S/O modesty S/O being tasteful from now on."
The fitness star gave a more in-depth description of the incident on her Instagram page, explaining: "The reason my membership was terminated was because I post 'tasteless,' immodest content."
"I am free-spirited, I am friendly, I have a great sense of myself as significant and important REGARDLESS of what I choose to wear (or not wear)," Larson continued.
"But more importantly, I have a great sense of everybody else around me being important and significant regardless of how they dress, behave, adhere to social standards, and regardless of whether or not they feel the same way about me [and] that will never change," she concluded, before signing off: "Peace out from your favorite Instagram heathen savage."
Unsurprisingly, Larson's followers were outraged by the story. Many took to the comments section to share their support.
"You are completely magnificent and it’s their loss. I hope you find a more accepting place to continue your growth," one person wrote.
"Don't let their narrow-mindedness spoil and dampen your positive energy," another commented.

"They monitor your social media? They should be paying you to promote their gym," a third pointed out, adding: "Your progress is quite impressive. Just keep doing what you're doing."
