A woman who identifies as a dog has opened up about her unusual day-to-day life.

Meow, a social media star, discussed her unconventional lifestyle with hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie 'O' Henderson, revealing details of her routine as a dog.

Meow, also a prominent figure on the gaming platform Twitch, is vocal about her identity as a Dalmatian, describing how she sleeps in a crate, indulges in dog treats, and has appointed "handlers" to assist her.

Discussing her sleeping arrangements, Meow said: "I have pastel blankets and pastel pillows in there, something about being in a confined space, I don't know if it makes me feel safe from the world or makes me feel like the world is safe from me but it feels comfort for sure!"

Meow clarified that she identifies as a "dog girl" and emphasized her love for playfulness and wonder in life. She expressed her belief that adulthood shouldn't hinder one's ability to embrace joy.

Addressing inquiries about her relationships, Meow mentioned having "handlers" who accompany her on walks and attend to her needs.

"I have handlers. Kind of like dog trainers. They feed me, they take me on walks, we practice training, which is one of my favorite things, because I get treats," Meow said.

She emphasized the non-sexual nature of these relationships, describing her handlers as supportive friends who share her interests.

As for her dietary preferences, Meow revealed a taste for shredded chicken, jerky, and occasionally dog biscuits as rewards. She also mentioned occasionally incorporating dog food into her diet, enhancing it with additives for flavor.

Despite her unconventional lifestyle, Meow expressed feeling more in touch with her primal instincts, attributing it to a sense of being "more human".

"I don't find myself focusing on other people and their reactions toward me because I'm so in the moment of just chasing the ball, being the dog, I want to sit and perform for whoever is my focus," she said.

In response to questions about her personal life, Meow clarified that her dog lifestyle extends beyond the bedroom, emphasizing its integral role in her everyday life.

Meow isn't the only one embracing the canine lifestyle, as a Japanese man who goes by the name of Toco has spent $15,000 to transform himself into a dog.

Toco also sleeps in a crate and is taken for walks on a leash, and has gained a huge social media following due to his unconventional lifestyle.

Talking to the New York Post, he said: "My desire to be an animal is like a desire to transform…a desire to be something that I am not."

Toco confessed that he wears his dog costume about once a week, primarily within the confines of his home.

Remarkably, Toco's unique hobby has been met with acceptance and support from his family. Despite the initial surprise, he shared: "The family was surprised, but received it favorably. I am very happy that they accepted it."
