A woman who married a ghost has blamed her spooky husband for allegedly ruining their romantic honeymoon on Barry Island in Wales.

Brocarde - a rock singer - married her ghostly lover Eduardo on Halloween in The Asylum Chapel in London.

Speaking during a recent interview on This Morning, the singer explained that it was incredibly hard to find a church that would perform the service, claiming that religion, priests and the afterlife is often not a good mixture.

She was kicked out of venues and was even threatened with exorcisms by those she was asking to wed her and her deceased husband.

Watch Brocarde discuss her relationship below:

Eduardo - she claims - is a Victorian soldier and the pair fell helplessly in love when he barged into her bedroom one night. She didn't believe in ghosts before she met her spooky spouse.

Their ceremony, as reported by The Daily Star, had an open invite and even saw dead celebrity guests invited to bear witness to the happy couple exchanging vows.

Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, and even King Henry VIII were claimed to be in attendance - hopefully, there was good catering and a range of spirits on offer for these stars!

Eduardo - ever the joker - poked fun at his wife about Monroe's appearance, as Brocarde said on This Morning: "Eduardo just couldn’t resist winding me up and made an inappropriate comment about her looking hot. I was like ‘wow really? It’s our wedding day.’ The comment completely ruined my evening!"

However, the romance didn't last long as Brocarde was left disappointed at the choice of honeymoon location, with it being Barry Island in Wales.

Eduardo attempted to get frisky on the beach, but according to the singer, it just ended up as a sandy mess that involved ice cream being shoved in her face.

"The whole trip just seemed to get worse and worse," Brocarde said. "Eduardo thought he was being passionate and romantic by wrestling me to the ground to frolic in the sand, but I was trying to share my ice cream with him and it went everywhere.

"We should have been on an amazing honeymoon but from that point on it was just ruined. Eduardo has always been unpredictable so it is typical that he would ruin our honeymoon," she continued.

The ghost apparently also has expensive taste as he often raids hotel minibars, and even tried to order 12 bottles of their finest champagne... with Brocarde left to pick up the tab!

We hope that Brocarde and Eduardo can patch up their marital issues soon.
